Runs Small

These run VERY small. My 7 lb dog usually wears XS in things from petsmart but I had to get her a small. My 17 lb I had to get a medium for his neck but it still feels too flimsy for him sometimes. I know a large would be too big for him though. Good luck on sizing for big dogs!

small was too big, extra small was too small

I've got a little 5 pound chihuahua. The extra small is too tight around the neck and I'm afraid he's going to hurt his neck as he tries to get out of it. The small is too large around his chest, so he gets both legs in one hole and gets tangled.

Gorgeous for my Pomeranian Puppy 10-Week-Old 2.28 lbs -- But Small Is Too Big

Love this harness. It's incredibly well-made and gorgeous. Buying these for both of my Pomeranians. However, the Small for my 2.28 lb furbaby is too big around the neck -- way too big. It's adjustable around the tummy, which is great and a perfect fit, but too big. I will order an XS as a replacement and see if it works better. UPDATE: I bought an XS for my Pomeranian who is just over 2 lbs and it fit like a glove. She will likely outgrow it quick and then I'll give it to her smaller sister. The XS is too big for my little one ... as she weighs about 1.6 lbs. So I'll hold off and find another brand with an adjustable neck for her. It looks great around her chest, but the neckline is too big for her too. UPDATE for Pup #2: The Puppia Authentic Junior Harness B works best for smaller puppies so you don't have the nekc sizing issues. It fits like a glove, but will order a size up for her to grow into. She's 10-weeks-old.

I love Puppia harnesses. I use them often for photo shoots for my rescue dogs. This one cleans easily and has a matching leash. Gives a preppy look to your fur baby.

Style + safety + quality without bulkiness

Well made, secure, top quality however...the hole for the head to go through is smaller than the original Puppia harness (pink mesh soft harness) which fit my Shih Tzu perfectly. My dog fits a medium...unable to go with small or large. She is able to wear this harness but it’s uncomfortable putting on and taking off. I don’t know why they would make that hole smaller. Odd and poor design flaw. Other than that mess, once it’s on she looks beautiful and loves struggling her stuff in this very pretty harness. I’ve tried other harnesses and nothing compares to the quality and safety of Puppia harnesses as far as I’m concerned. No big, bulky buckles or overlapping Velcro fabric or odd leash rings that don’t lay flat. Puppia harnesses are designed with style and safety in mind and I will be a return customer.

Love it

I have bought three different harness for my dog to try on. The first one she totally refused to walk in it. The second one is also from puppia. She liked it but this third one is perfect! The neck hole is half inch larger and the girt is half inch smaller than the second harness. The material is soft and looks so nice on her darker apricot fur. My puppy is a 5lb toy poodle wearing size S.

Not fit for purpose!!

Lovely looking harness BUT however hard I tried, and I preserved until my fingers were very red and sore, I could not open the clip to try the harness on! Absolutely ridiculous, I am not an older person with weak hands. Our dog’s (we have five) collars have the same kind of push in the sides to unclip, fasteners and they are no problem at all. Such a shame, had to send back.

Careful washing this!

Gorgeous harness we bought for our miniature dachshund, fits well and looks great. We washed it following the instructions but it has come out looking well worn and rather shabby which is a shame as it's a light colour and will need washing. Wouldn't purchase another because of this but great if it's not going to pick up any dirt.
