Very nice

These are really nice. I have the metal-type mixing bowls, which work well, but thought I'd also try glass ones. These are heavier and don't "spin" around when mixing things, which is nice. They are also "warmer" than the cold metal, and don't affect the temp of ingredients when mixing baking ingredients. I also like the large bowl for proofing bread dough, as I can see how the rising is progressing. The same for storing leftovers in the fridge. Glass is also better than metal or plastic bowls when using acidic marinades, as it can't chemically react with the surfaces, which can affect flavor or even be harmful with plastic. It does take more care when handling them, being as glass chips easily. I like having both metal and glass, so these are a good addition to my kitchen. (I just ordered a second set.)

This Product is Just What I was Looking for.

I got what I needed and what I expected. I knew they would be when I saw the name Pyrex. Except that they are a bit heavier than I would have liked, I'm pleased with my purchase.

2.5-Qt bowl came with small chip

I had 2.5 qt bowl for more then 10 years and I was using it for mixing, heating up and storing the food until I noticed the crack on the top of the bowl. I ordered a set of 3 bowls and was very exiting to get it today, 5/3/23. However the big 2.5 Qt bowl has a small chip on the side. Going to return it tomorrow and order again this set Hope the next set will be without any chips or cracks. Y.K. 5/3/23

Good quality bowls

I purchased these bowls for baking. I recently used them to make peasant bread. I used the largest bowl to mix the recipe and the other two to bake the bread. They stood well to the heat of the oven and turned out some perfect evenly cooked golden brown bread. I look forward to using these bowls again and I’m sure they’ll get used often.

Corning is considered the best

I have used Corning ware most of my life and think of it as high quality glass. These bowls had some imperfections like starbursts on two of the bowls and a small chip on the rim of the smaller bowl. But it wasn't a chip because it was smooth. Kind of funny. I had already thrown out the box so decided to keep the set. Its ok. I still love Corning ware.

looks nice on a shelf - very pretty in a simple way

useful.. while it makes getting them out a tad more difficult when my hands are wet.. I like the way they sit flush inside each other. they are very beautiful and I keep them out on desplay instead of the cabinet as I like the way they look. they are sturdy but not too heavy. so far no chips or cracks. I love them

These are nice bowls, but the middle size has a noticeable flaw around the rim, which is disappointing because Pyrex is a good brand. I will keep them as it’s very inconvenient to return then re-order them
