Not bad but, not as good as they were 50 years ago.

Bought this for my grandson that turns 2 this week. Will see how long it lasts with his use. Assembly isn't bad if you have the right tools. Not sure how they expect people to assemble these with pliers or a Crescent wrench. I'd recommend a good #2 Phillips screw driver, a needle nose pliers to locate the nut on the screw under the rear step on the main frame, 11mm open end wrench to hold the nuts at the bottom of the main frame, and a 13mm 1/4" drive socket and ratchet to tighten the pinch bolt on the handle bar/fork connection. I can see where people have had issues with getting the pinch bolt at the handle bar joint, especially if they are trying to use pliers to do it. The frame work does not seem as heavy as the ones I remember from my youth. Noticed an area of light paint under the rear step. Also the bell that is included I doubt will last long at all since it's basically plastic construction except for the actual bell part.

Easy to put together

Wasn’t hard to put together by myself. Cute and perfect size for little ones. My son is a tad too young to ride by himself but still gets a kick out of being pushed around in it. Definitely solid, well made trike.

Great trike with few small issues

Really cute tricycle, had fun assembling. However, the front wheel came with this awful slice. I thought it was done for but this literally came on the day of my daughter’s birthday so I HAD to make it work. Thankfully, the slice wasn’t deep enough to puncture the wheel so I was able to complete assembly to make the birthday girl's day! I’m certain that over time with wear and tear the slice will worsen so I’m hoping to get the wheel replaced sooner than later. Birthday girl LOVED it! Couldn’t wait to get into her gear and take it for a spin. Soon after riding for about 10-15 mins I noticed that the handle bar and front wheel were unaligned. I thought maybe I just didn’t do it right initially, though I’m sure I made sure everything was straight before letting her ride. So I re-alignment and tightened it with all of my strength and thought that ought to do it. Then, it happened again..and again. I got someone stronger to tighten it with all of their strength but still managed to come unaligned after riding for a few minutes. Not sure if that’s a manufacturing defect or what’s going on there :/ That aside, it’s a pretty cool ride for a pretty cool kid ;)

Well built tricycle. Sturdy and solid parts. Assembly was easy. Bought on sale and think we got a good deal for the price we paid. Bought for 2 year old and it fits him well with adjustments available as he grows.

Trike perfection

Its not cheap but it is unbreakable .. oh and it's a great trike. You can ride it, you can give rides from the platform on the back, it has pink and white streamers on the handles, it looks great, the wide handle bars make you feel like you are on a harley (ok I am putting words in my 2.5 years old mouth) but from the moment she saw in under the christmas tree in all its pink perfection, nothing else mattered. From my perspective there isn't any flashing lights or glitter anywhere, which is a welcome relief.
