The new gear works perfectly. Top speed for my Redcat Exceed is excellent. No overheating problems.

Didn’t work for my Blackout XTE Pro

Wasted time and money. I ran this in my Blackout XTE Pro with a metal 64T spur gear (part 11184). While it worked nice out of the box, the same day it was installed is the same day it fell apart – see the picture. I’m not going to completely hate this product because my experience with it may be the results of placing upgraded gears in a vehicle that it wasn’t meant to be in. Currently, I’ve found no gear upgrades specific to the Blackout, so trying to make this work may be the root cause of such a poor experience.

29t pinion gear

this is a good solid gear. I use it on an Exceedrc Sunfire 1/10 4wd buggy for street speed runs. I have braked hard from 60mph with no issues. It can handle powerful torque from the motor.

Description is wrong. Doesn't fix Volcano EPX.

The product description is outright lying when it days that it is compatable with the Volcano EPX/EPX Pro, and I know that in the From the Manufacturer that it isn't listed, but the product description does, so I assumed that it might work. It does technically fit, but it grinds and it keeps coming loose. Please fix the description.
