I put these times on bathroom fans. You turn the fan on, leave the bathroom, and after 10 min or so, the "air pollution" is cleaned up and the fan shuts itself off. I replaced a timer that had broken with this one. It wired up easily, the cover fit right (and they don't always) and the timer works as it should. I've bought 5 or 6 brands of basically the same thing. This is one of the better ones
