We've had 14 floods in 2 years & our landlord refuses to pay for carpet cleaning despite being obliged to provide that. I'm uploading 2 different before & after pics because one was taken with the camera flash on, the other was without the flash. There was a very troubled area that was pretty much blackened because of all the times we've had to sweep water out via our front door. Looks way worse in real life but you can still clearly see it in the pics. I even resorted to buying a wet vacuum cleaner with special shampoo but it really didn't help so much. Now this product. I saw it on sale, decided to try it after reading reviews which were mostly focused on spot stains. I didn't hold out much hope, but since it was on sale, I gave it a try. The pictures speak for the product. The scent is so pleasant, I really liked it. I followed the instructions but because our carpet was so heavily soiled, I wasn't expecting a great result. Well, I was blown away at how much dirt etc it lifted. I had to soak the area quite a lot but there was still plenty of product left. I did use my wet vacuum just to suck out the excess wetness, no extra water or other product was used. The colour of the liquid in the tank was almost black. This product really works. I am so impressed. Gets a 5* from me. The carpet is still not bone dry so if anything changes later, I'll amend this review, but as of now, 3 hours after completing the clean, I am very happy ???????????? EDIT: This product got curry sauce & bbq sauce out of my teatowel & out of my beige teeshirt! ????. Amazing!

Moved in with a friend and the spare room had no original carpet color, just stains all over from previous friends they had allowed to stay. Decided to do some cleaning to help out and grabbed this bottle. Turns out the carpet is a beautiful tan color, gotta get another bottle once i can afford it to clean more but my room looks BEAUTIFUL because of this product. The few bad reviews say right in them what they did wrong "rubbed for ten minutes and stain didn't come out", it says right on the bottle NOT to rub, spray the spot, wait 3 minutes, then put down a cloth or paper towel and DAB it, or just put weight on it, and keep dabbing on different parts of the cloth until the spot is clean. DO NOT RUB, IT WILL SMEAR THE STAIN. Dab, and your worries will fade just like the stain.

A good spot cleaner and stain remover for carpets.

I had noticed there were several ugly looking stains on my carpet, and I did not want to get my entire carpet cleaned at this time; however, while browsing online I came across this product on Amazon (Resolve Professional strength spot and stain carpet cleaner, Red, 32 fl. Oz pack of 1) and decided to purchase it. As always, the delivery service was fantastic. After using this on several stained areas of my carpet I was very pleased with the results. Good but faulty spray handle design

Lost 1/5 of the bottle in shipping. There is no screw top on the bottle but instead they have used some kind of new quick-connect mechanism that requires a small fraction of a turn to get the top off. There is no mechanism to prevent leakage like a traditional. Other Resolve bottles do not have this design flaw where it leaks when laying on its side.

The scent of product is okay. But on long exposure could give you headaches. It's easy to use but it takes 5 to 10 coats of spray to get rid of minimal stain of oil or dirt. So it gives a value to the money it is sold. I'm not sure whether you need to wet the rug with water first before using resolve. But with alone it takes time.
