Good product

These are durable, finished stockinette’s and comfortable for the most part. The seem around the thumb is rather thick. If you are wearing a hard splint it will create a pressure point around your thumb that gets uncomfortable after a few hours. These do however eliminate the sticky, sweaty feeling of having a splint against your bare skin.

Way better than Roylan 58814

These are ribbed. Note 3 of the 4 answers to my question of "Ribbed or smooth?" were incorrect at least as of the product I received July 12 2021. So they cause me a bit of irritation and indentations. But way better than Roylan 58814. They are thicker (at least double), no raw seams that immediately unravel (folded over double, so only a seam at the bottom), softer, higher quality, and available in black. So to me it's well worth double the price. Despite being one size these still fit plenty close enough to my hand, actually tighter than 58814 in Small as they don't stretch out immediately. The thumb spica part is a bit baggy on me, looser than 55814, and it has a seam like a glove, but no issue feeling it under the splint. These actually look like they would hold up in the wash, although I haven't yet. 58814 looks like it's intended to be disposable. A bit expensive, but my splint is more comfortable, so it's worth it. Wish I skipped 58814 for these to begin with, as it would have cost me less in the long run, and I'll probably end up trashing those. The descriptions aren't really clear so I didn't understand that these are much higher quality.

Thick, comfortable. I throw them in the washer and dryer and they come out like they are new. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable

These are thick and soft. They work perfect under my custom splint. They wash really well. I turn them inside out so the thumb stitching is facing outward instead of next to my thumb joint and it works great.

Doesn’t work for me

These are well made, nice and thick. The problem is the seam at the juncture of the thumb and the hand. With a tight fitting cast, it gets to be very uncomfortable.

Comfortable and Washes Easily

As a result of two broken bones in my hand, I have to wear a hard plastic cast and this sleeve makes it very comfortable. The one that comes with the brace is very thin so it was a great surprise to feel the weight of this one. It fits perfectly. I would highly recommend this product.

Great product.

I used this product under a thumbs splint after a recent joint replacement. It was the perfect thickness. They washed nice in the washer and dryer. The seam waz a little thick but all I had to do was turn it inside out then when you fold the extra length over it looked nicer anyway. Would definitely suggest buying them.

So comfortable!

These fit perfectly under my exos splint. Very comfortable and easy to clean. They are thick enough that my splint doesn't pinch my arm when I tighten it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is wearing a removable splint.
