$38 dollar seat should be better built

Screws that attach hinge to seat were loos and one was stripped.

great value

lots better value than the big box stores. same product but less money. Had to return after a few days because the screws came loose on the seat. unable to glue or repair because it is particle board. They sent a replacement and it came broken with the same problem. Sent it back also. It seems the screws will not hold in the seat which makes it unusable.

SCREW HOLES TOO LARGE

RECEIVED 2 SEATS SHIPPING IN THE RETAIL BOX. ABSOLUTELY NO PACKING. THE SEAT WAS RATTLING INSDIDE. WHEN I OPENED THE BOX THE SEAT AND LID WAS HANGING BY ONE SIDE OF THE HINGE. NO SCREWS WERE HOLDING THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HINGE(2 SCREWS MISSING) THEY WERE IN THE BOX SO I FIGURED I'D JUST SCREW THEM BACK IN. WELL THE HOLES IN THE WOOD SEAT WERE DRILLED TOO BIG! THE SCREW DIDN'T STRIP THE HOLES, THE HOLES WERE DRILLED WRONG!. BOTH SEATS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I WAS ALSO SURPRISED THE SEATS WEREN'T DAMAGED DUE TO NO PACKING. VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL AND LACK OF PACKING. THE FINISH OF THE WOULD WAS ALSO NOT SANDED SMOOTH LIKE OTHER WOOD SEATS I'VE HAD. YOUR FINGER NAILS ACTUALLY GET COUGHT IN THE WOOD GRAND. I CAN'T SEE THESE SEATS HOLDING UP TO SPRAY CLEANERS OR ANY LIQUID IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN IF U HAVE KIDS. RETURNED SAME DAY. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WAS A GOOD PRICE BUT I GUESS ITS TRUE, YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR.

Came all apart and not connected

When I opened the product box four little screws came falling out!? Then when I tried to take the toilet seat out it was in two pieces. The seat itself was no longer attached to the brackets. The holes had gotten too big for the screws and would not hold the bracket in place! So instead of just returning it, I figured I would just remedy the problem with toothpicks in the enlarged holes to set and hold the screws in place. Yeah, that lasted two days. And it fell apart with all sawdust and screws in the toilet! Never mind the laminate that is coming off on the edges. Called customer service I didn’t want to return it. Just throw it away, so I got a 30% refund. Amazon is going downhill! Sorry to say.

The worst toilet seat ever!!!!

The media could not be loaded. Me and my fiancee bought this toilet seat the first time we got it there were screws missing and some of them were stripped! So we sent that one back to just get a second one that has the same thing the screws are stripped and we would like our money back! 40 dollars for a broken toilet seat not once but twice!!! Do better people!

This item broke with 1 day. The Bottom screws split the wood, before I could get a picture my Sister thru it out. Very disappointed ???? in the product

Ridiculously bed quality.

"Round Oak Toilet Seat" is not made of oak, not even wood of any kind. This is made of sawdust and can't be assembled because it is falling apart. Beware of this "product".

Lasted 1 month and a half.

One hinge flaked apart and wasn't even screwed in! Screw popped out also on another hinge Absolute garbage tier. Get a plastic one from Bunnings, it will last longer. Shame on the designers for cutting costs and poor assembly! Shame on Amazon for selling a defective product for a hefty price! One of the worst toilet seats ever.
