Slightly Difficult to Apply and Humidity Seems to Affect Them a Bit but Otherwise They Look Great!

Over the past couple of months, I've become more interested in decorating our home. I love inspirational sayings because they are good reminders of how I strive to live and what I'd like my kids to know as they grow up. I first came upon wall decals when I purchased some for my kids' room for the walls and they are also the RoomMates brand. They work and stick so nicely that I was excited to find some inspirational wall decals by the same company. "Live, Laugh, Love" has always been one of my favorite sayings and the decals were a great price so I ordered them. This set includes a total of 22 decals that come on two long sheets. I've measured each one since the words vary in size and have included the dimensions from the highest to lowest point and longest length for each word: "Live" - 12 inches by 7 1/2 inches "Laugh" - 17 inches by 8 inches "Love" - 13 inches by 7 1/2 inches "Well" - 5 inches by 1 1/2 inches "Often" - 6 1/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches "Much" - 6 1/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches Big squares (5 black and 5 gray) - 2 3/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches Small squares (3 black and 3 gray) - 1 1/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches Because of the dimensions of the words, you can actually fill up a good-size wall with the entire set. I had originally planned to put these on part of our living room wall but when I saw that the words are bigger, I decided to spread them out and put them up on one wall, as you can see in the picture I've included. I decided to attempt putting these up by myself which actually proved to be slightly more difficult than I anticipated, mainly because the letter "L" in the words "Live," "Laugh," and "Love" is very loopy and hard to peel off without it sticking to the rest of the word. I managed to get them all off okay and once I did, they were fairly easy to stick on the walls. We have lightly-spackled walls and these decals stick very well for the most part. The only problems I've had with them is with the letter "L" in "Live," "Laugh," and "Love" because it's thinner than the rest of the word (within the big loops are big spaces) and it peels away from the wall occasionally so I just have to smooth them down every so often. I put up the decals about two and a half months ago before we turned on our air conditioner and it gets very humid in the summer here so that may have affected how well the "L" sticks. Our AC has now been on for most of the summer and that seems to also help with ensuring these decals stick better. The rest of the decals stick very nicely and all of them are easy to peel off and you can rearrange them many times and they will still stick. They also don't leave any residue on the walls which is great! You can see some of the clear background when they are on the wall but unless you are up close, it isn't very noticeable. Overall, I'm very happy with these decals and have received many compliments on them. They were slightly difficult for me to apply but I was able to get them up eventually and for the most part, they stick nicely. Depending on the weather conditions in your area and the type of walls you have, these may have a little trouble sticking but if you don't mind smoothing them down every so often, I'd recommend purchasing them. They look great and I love the look of them on our wall. We now have a number of items made by the RoomMates company and are very happy with them plus they are made in the USA!

Love the phrase, but the adhesive could be better

I ordered several decals last week through Amazon, and have had varying degrees of satisfaction with each one. The best one was Sweet Cats! What I love about the RoomMates Live, Love, Laugh decal is the design and the look of it. What I don't like so much is, the adhesive leaves something to be desired. A couple of the words area already slightly curling up at the ends. Also, I'm sure it's just the lighting in the room, but unless you're looking at straight on, you can see the clear vinyl around the lettering, which, in my opinion, makes it look a little less classy. The Sweet Cats decal had no vinyl around the stickers. It's sharp and crisp, and I LOVE the looks of it from any angle. The Live, Laugh, Love decal is really beautiful in design, but an addition to the very visible vinyl around the letters, I don't have much faith in moving it to another wall, as I'm pretty sure it won't stick well the second time round. I just put it up three days ago, and already I've had to press a few of the decals back down on the wall. My wall is not completely flat, but it's not heavily textured either. I'd say it's your average texture.

Lasted! I had mine up for two years until I peeled it off due to moving the room around. Came off perfectly. This looked really nice I got lots of compliments on it.

A black sharpie made for quick repair- and all is good again.

I bought this 3 years ago, for my office when I started a new job, to decorate my tiny tiny new office. Within 8 months, we moved to another suite in the same building, giving me an extra 10 sq ft to decorate. I was a little concerned pulling them down, that they wouldn't keep their stickiness. But they did. Fast forward to May 2014- when we moved again. This time my office was twice the size of the previous one, WAY TO GO ME! and I again wondered if after pulling them down to pack up would be the end of the road for my "Live, Laugh, Love"... BUT GUESS WHAT? They went right back up on the wall. The sticky stayed. Maybe slightly too well, as I had them laid on top of each other for packing purposes, and a bit of the lettering came off when I pulled them apart. A black sharpie made for quick repair- and all is good again.

Very happy with how this looks on my wall

Very happy with how this looks on my wall! Really gives a home-y atmosphere. This isn't your typical wall decal - instead every piece is a separate sticker with a clear backing so it may show on your wall if it is a darker color or if there is light shined on it. That being said, it was very easy to apply and you could be creative with it - apply it more vertical like the image they provided or more horizontal. It also came with extra diamond stickers. I didn't end up using all... Happy with my purchase! And this price can't be beat!

Quality and easy to use

I love this wall stickers so much. I've bought it for my new home. It's forgiving if you make a mistake while placing it on the wall. They don't tend to stick together like some wall stickers. Quality and easy to use.

Very easy to install. Look very polished and seem durable. Have been on for quite a while in a sunny spot and no sign of curling or peeling on the edges.

Check each word before you start...

I was so unhappy with this order. I was almost finished putting it up.. but when I went to put up "Love and much" neither words would pull off the backing. I could see the marks where they were suppose to, but no luck. I had to use my scissors and cut around these words. There is no way one can cut it as smooth as it should be! The small little square things were okay but none of the large ones pulled away either ...I had to cut those out too. SO, CHECK YOURS BEFORE YOU GO TO ALL THE WORK TO GET IT PUT UP ONLY TO FIND THIS PROBLEM. I had already ordered two more different sayings, I hope I don't have this problem again. Very disappointed.
