Great lamp shade
For years I had a cheap lamp shade with a plastic lining that eventually disintegrated from the heat of the light bulb. Then I ordered this lamp shade on line and looks so much better on my floor lamp and makes a classy addition to the looks of my living room.

It fits my 1970"s Stiffel 4-light floor lamp with an 8" reflector bowl almost perfectly.
It fits my 1970's 4 light Stiffel floor lamp almost perfectly. It's the identical size in all 3 dimensions, same eggshell color, same identical appearance and same high quality. The only glitch is that while 3 of the notches on the spider fitter fit perfectly on the rim of the 8" reflector bowl, the 4th notch doesn't quite sit flat on the edge of the bowl. This results in a tiny gap between the edge of the bowl and the notch that causes the shade to wobble slightly if you bump it. It does look ok though and doesn't sit crooked. If I can think of something to use to fill in the gap, that will fix it. Overall I do love the shade though. If you look at the lamp you'd never know it wasn't the original shade. I had almost given up on finding such a great match for my mother's 45 year old lamp. I'd definitely buy it again.

Quality Shade.
This shade is beautiful . It has two layers. Outside layer feels silky, and so does inside layer. Shape fits very well, and compliments this lamp. The lamp is an antique that once belonged to my mother. I searched for years to find the right shade. The original shade was customer made to fit the lamp, and had gotten ripped. I took a chance on this one. Measured old shade carefully, and this one came close in measurement. To my surprise, the whole thing worked out, and now my mothers lamp has a new lufe. I expect it will remain so when I pass it along in our family.

Just the one I needed
I have 2 antique floor lamps which were in need of new shades. Awhile ago, my kittens thought it was great fun to attack the shades and as you might have guessed- Swiss cheese! The new shades are not as fancy as the old ones but are of comparable quality. Plus, I got the antique gold color which blends in and doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb. Great shades!
