The tops screw on
My father has arthritis in his hands so I got these for him. He has trouble with the lids on the regular Ziploc type containers. I found that these are great for sauces and soups.

Very sturdy with a good seal
After being very happy with my first set from the grocery store I couldn't find them there any more. I'm happy to find additional sets online that match the ones I have. Just remember to seal by pressing in the middle of the lid rather than trying to press around the edges.

Covers are Solid Red, Not Translucent Red as in the Pic
I really like these containers because they're a good portion size for meal prep and they're pretty sturdy. I put them in the freezer and microwave. I bought these same ones before, but they had the translucent red covers (see through), as what is depicted in all the images on this website, but these did not come with the translucent covers. You'll see from my pics that they came with solid red covers. It's not a huge deal and the quality and function of the containers are still the same, but I just wanted these to match my existing containers that have the translucent red covers. I was disappointed and nowhere on the website does it show solid red covers so they need to update their pics. I like to use these for meal prep to store soup, chili, stews, etc. I like that they're 2.1 cups because I like to measure out 2 cups for a serving size and these containers allow me to do that and still have about 1/2" of space left at the top so it's much neater and easier when covering and storing, especially in the freezer since a lot of foods expand, especially soup. Most containers are 2 cups to the very top of the container and you can't really put 2 cups of soup in these because it would be to the very top and make a mess when freezing or microwaving. If you froze them, filled to the very top, the soup would expand and break the covers. The only other thing that I didn't like, besides the covers not being the translucent red, is the outrageously overpriced cost. They cost over $10 with tax for 5 small containers and Walmart sells these exact ones for $2.49! If I can find them at Walmart, I'll definitely buy them there first, unless the price on here goes under $4.00!

These are much flimsier than I expected
These are nice little containers and will store leftovers and such but are way flimsier than any other storage container I've ever had. The top edges are also kind of sharp so you need to be careful when cleaning them not to slice yourself. But I like the screw-top lid which is the reason I bought them. I have no idea if they're leak proof or not.

Looks Fragile
We've been using these containers for a couple of weeks now. They seem really thin and fragile, which has me worried since even thicker ones tend to break down quickly, especially the lids. But so far they're holding up, and they haven't warped or anything. So I'm starting with a score of 4, and I'll upgrade it (or downgrade it) depending on how long they last.

I like these containers. They are just the right size for left over chopped up herbs or half a lime. The food stays fresh in them in the fridge for about 3 days.

Large Size - worth it!
Purchased these (4 in total) for storing/freezing baked goods like muffins, cookies, and biscuits. They are excellent value for the money. The only drawback is that I wish they were slightly more heavy or thicker to add more sturdiness to them for when you place heavier items inside.

What I like the most is the size. They are large enough to store a full batch of cookies. Not the most durable, but still durable enough to do the job by keeping the stored products fresh.

Great little containers
Love this little guys. Never had any crack, split or any other of the negative claims that I have read about. Just ordered six more because so many of my spices and baking ingredients are in these containers. Roughly $4.00 for three is definitely a far cry from being over priced. Go ahead and purchase these as the are well made, last a long time, wash very easily and are simply great to have in the kitchen. I love using these as butter dishes for daily use.
