Pleased with the fit and design of this costume.
I am 5'4" tall, weigh 185lbs and the standard size fit. The sleeves are too long for me but that's the story of my life. The elastic at the wrist of the sleeves holds them up which creates a puffier arm. I'm surprised that the shirt tail is the perfect length on me. It comes to the same length on me as it does on the model. It may be too short if you are a tall person. The tie at the neck line isn't the same as pictured which appears to to be thick. It's a regular shoe lace type tie that doesn't have the plastic aglets at the ends for threading through the grommets. I didn't realize that the sash came with the shirt as it isn't mentioned in the description. Not knowing I went ahead and ordered a woven cotton skull print scarf to belt around my waist. It is just as well because the skull sash that is provided is a thin satin material that is slippery and does't drape or tie that way it does on the model in the picture. It's pretty much useless. If the sash was the same as it appeared in the picture I would have given 5 stars.

Cheap but not cheap
It was a cheap costume shirt. I'm actually female but had a hard time finding one I could wear to work (meaning not too low in the front). That part worked. It was super thin (wore a tank underneath), but I liked the length of sleeves (a little long for me so looked the part). Sewing on the sleeve ends was coming apart and they weren't lined up. But for a cheap costume shirt, it worked. Sadly, it wasn't cheap.

Thin fabric
Kinda big, thin as H E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS! The strings are like weird plasticy shoelaces but the little string pattern is COOL* near the collar - also the sleeves are super floofy and cool but just remember SUPER THIN AND RELATIVELY TRANSPARENT FABRIC MAN!

This shirt brings authenticity/realism to any pirate costume. Most full pirate costumes come with a really crummy undershirt so spending a little bit of money on this shirt completely ups the value of the overall costume. In my case, I used it for a video spot I was creating for a pirate festival in Port Washington. The spot had a close up on a hand and the frilled cuffs added product value to the shot. My only complaint about this product is that the accessories it comes with are completely useless if you want to make a realistic pirate costume. I love the fact that it comes with a sash, but ended up not using the sash in the final spot because its skull pattern was to fake looking.

Decent Quality, Looks Great On!
Bought this for a New Year's party with a Pirates of the Caribbean theme. So I was hoping it'd be nicer and not of Halloween quality. It was. In fact just before the party I noticed a faint stain on the front. I don't know if it came with that or if we got something on it. Anyway, I washed it, and dried it, hoping for the best. It washed fine. Also, the stain came out. I think if I washed it and dried it regularly it wouldn't last all that long because the fabric is somewhat thin (not a problem with a t-shirt beneath). It didn't need ironed.

Good Product, Fit, and Price
I bought this as part of a Rumplestiltskin (Once Upon a Time) Halloween costume. I'm a fairly big guy. 6'1 280lbs and this shirt fits me perfectly. Good arm length as well. It is a little difficult to get on, but seems like a great costume product for the price. The only reason I rated 4 instead of five stars is that the material feels like it would rip easily, so be careful putting it on! Have only tried it on, haven't worn it for an extended time, yet. I was a little nervous about ordering something with no reviews, but I lucked out. Definitely would recommend this product!

Choking hazard
Shirt itself it's bad, but the rings in the collar fell off so easily and I couldn't find them for the longest time, if you have kids or pets it's a huge choking hazard.

Misleading title. Buyer beware.
Fits well, I'm a bit stocky (5'7), I purchased Standard Size but my biggest gripe is that despite the name, the product is not made of cotton but instead is 100% polyester. It's not that sheer, but it is misleading to have it advertised as such without mentioning that it's not what it's advertised as. It's better than their Colonial Shirt, but it's not what I'm looking for.

the rubies men's cotton white pirate shirt is in fact 100% polyester so the title is very deceiving (marketing ploy). it fits very long. I decided to cut the outside part of the last cuff. to take out the super white shiny polyester look I soaked it in a tea concoction and made it look more like old cotton. Overall I am satisfied but only because I got it on sale.
