Be sure you have the light you want for your space and your fixture. LED lights are hot and bright.

Replacing incandescent lights with LEDs takes some research. Customer approval ratings do favor Satco. I had to search, as I needed specialty bulbs that would work in an enclosed fixture. The Satco MR 16 satisfied that option. The 3000 K provides bright light for working in the kitchen and has been an immense improvement. I ordered one bulb at a time until I was sure I had what I wanted.

Just as good as higher priced lights

I work in an art gallery and we recently updated to all LED lamps. The brand we chose cost 4 times as much as the Satco because it was what was recommended by museum and other gallery directors. I heard of satco from an electrician so I figured to try them in my home. I was quite impressed from the start, that color and temp of the lamps were the same (other LED lamps sometimes can have different hues). Very happy with the purchase!

Great bulb, but short return window if bulb is defective.

Operation - Runs like a champ, fully recommend the replacement of halogens with this bulb. Service - Out of the many LED bulbs that I buy... there are bulbs that are defective and last much less than the 25,000 hours... since there is a return window that is very short... the buyer assumes the risk of this issue. I have a single bulb that burned out within 3 weeks, but I am not able to return/replace without buying another one. I may have to consider an alternative like bulb due to the lack of return-ability.

New Generation LED

My favorite bulb. The new generation LEDs, with an attractive, full-spectrum look. Know that this is a 5000K, which means it's cool. Unlike some of the older LEDs, however it's not a "creepy" green or other color! It projects more blue and looks like daylight.

Perfect replacement for narrow coverage, bluish light, bulbs that came with range hoods. Satco is a reliable brand. Bulbs were delivered very promptly.

These bulbs are not daylight or bright white bulbs they are soft white with a light yellow tint, Thank You!

Efectivamente, 4000 ºK

ACTUALIZACIÓN DE RESEÑA 6/Abr/2019 Compré 4 de éstos y después de 2 años exactos de uso moderado, 2 de ellos simplemente dejaron de funcionar. ¡Los dos casi al mismo tiempo! No huelen raro ni emiten destellos, sólo ya no encienden. Sospecho que algo dentro de su circuito se dañó y estoy muy decepcionado porque elegí estas lámparas por ser de las más caras por aquí. Lástima, ya no puedo hacer válida su garantía, imagino que en los meses próximos se dañarán los otros dos. Espero que mi reseña le sirva a alguien. 12/Mar/2017 Difícil de conseguir la temperatura de la luz del foco, a pesar de que no fue mi primera opción de compra, estoy muy satisfecho por la inversión, tienen buena intensidad de luz y el color es el que yo buscaba (4000 ºK) lo que yo llamaría luz blanca neutra, no muy azulada y no muy amarilla. En cuanto a la calidad del producto es excelente, aparentemente se ve muy sencillo pero en la foto Amazon no muestra el grabado que tiene en la superficie con las especificaciones. Satco es una empresa que se dedica especialmente a fabricar focos, así que no esperaba menos. ;)
