Far more comfortable than I imagined.
For anyone who has tried sleeping on floor for whatever reason will probably not believe that a product this thin and lightweight would make a difference. It does! It comes with a very clever stretchable band that makes it easy to store and carry. If you live in an area that has hurricanes or tornadoes, I'd get these as part of your emergency supplies to use as you wait for storm to pass in an interior room or to use at a shelter. I'm all for being prepared and comfortable. Think of this as a gift for anyone who may have to sleep on a floor. Perfect for slumber parties. It is easy to clean. It doesn't squish down and stay down, either.

Severely damaged and smelled of cigarettes
The comfort and product itself is fine. I ordered 3. One was used which I was aware of. But arrived all torn up and smells badly of cigarette smoke

I always wake up feeling fantastic after I sleep on this, and so surprised because although it might look too thin to give comfort, it does, and very well, it's a fantastic product.

Scary...but works well for me
I got lucky and got this pad in brand-new condition - it gave every appearance on arrival of being flat-out-brand-new and never unwrapped nor used - at a nice discount from someone whom I suspect took one look at the scary disclaimer on the packaging, said, "No *thanks!*", and turned right around and put it back up for sale on Amazon. I'm often not much swayed by those warnings about chemicals known to the state of California to cause...death and fates worse still...but this one gave even me pause. Cidofovir?? What the heck is *that??* It just *sounds* scary. But I decided that I'm 58 and have had an...eventful life...and it's unlikely that the cidofovir's gonna get me before the Reaper comes of Her own volition...and, I don't know...maybe cidofovir can't penetrate bedsheets. Reckless though it may be, I'm using the thing. And for my purposes - which include easing up on my attachment to sense pleasures - it serves very well. It's my bed now - just this pad (and my magical protective bedsheets) atop a wooden floor. It's no mattress and box spring - it's not even a mattress *without* a box spring - but it works well for me. If I do die of cidofovir poisoning, I'll come back (from the Other Side) and update my review with my ghostly little fingers. But in the meantime, it's a good pad. :)

I sleep on this nightly as I have no bed. Rolls up n stores easily. Quite cozy, and as thick as needed. I was worried it wouldn't be thick enough but it's both sturdy and comfortable. Just don't let a heavy dog on it as the material is punctured/ torn by claws easily

Incorrect information
Amazon's listing indicated the pad to be 1.25" thick. What I received was 3/4" thick, not adequate for my purposes. Returned. Update: the Amazon listing has been changed to reflect the correct thickness.

Very comfortable camping on the ground
Probably too bulky for long backpacking, but I got them for car side camping. Very comfortable and you don't have to worry about inflating like the blow up ones.

So helpful
We have a child who occasionally wakes in the night so we help her back to sleep. This really helps our back when we take turns settling her back down. The other night she was up quite a few times so I just slept beside her on the floor. It saved my back for sure. Is it perfect? No, but it was so much cheaper than the other sleeping mats on here and it's not inflatable. Plus you can roll it up and put it in the closet when you arent using it. I was worried it would smell funny when we unboxed it but it was fine. We got the thicker version and we are glad we did.
