Good Door Handle and Lock System

The purpose of the door handle is great, I can fit multiple key codes in for my customers at my daycare. I have not had a problem with the functioning of the lock system. It is also really easy to use. If someone unenrolls, I can erase their door code. It was a bit tricky to install. Definitely took us a while. You have to be really patient with the instructions and also line the door handle up just right on both sides in order to complete the installation. The only bad part about this handle is that the numbers are coming off of the keypad. I've attached a picture. I installed the door handle about 10-11 months ago. But I've also been closed for the last 3 months due to the coronavirus shutdowns. I've also contacted the company, but have not heard back from them yet.

Keypad Faded

We purchased this for a business and the keypad was no longer readable shortly after 1 year of use, after the warranty was up. I would not purchase again. We have not been able to find a keyboard replacement or if it exists.

Good lock but be warned.

Installed this at my local bank as the lighter duty Schlage electronic didn't last but about a year. This is a heavy well made lock but be warned you will have to drill additional holes to mount this lock so if you get it you will be stuck using it on that door. Overall very impressed with it and everyone at the bank likes it better than the lighter duty.

Beware! Examine your lockset carefully. Upon delivery I opened the package prior to going to the jobsite and thought I looked over everything and found it to be satisfactory despite some odd wear on the inner product packaging. Screw packs appeared unopened and batteries were clearly factory packaged and unopened. However once I got to the jobsite to install this locket I noticed some scratches on the keypad housing and on the battery housing. They were minor enough that I decided to continue with installation. However once everything was mounted and the battery to keypad connection was to be made, I found that the plastic connector was broken and would not lock together. Again I had to just tape it together and proceed with finalizing the install. Furthermore, the default factory code did not work and had to be reset. This indicates to me that this lock had been previously tampered with or installed at some point. All of this was very frustrating as the cost to repackage everything, send it back and schedule another trip to site would have put me well into the red on this job. I can only hope now that the lock functions flawlessly for my client and I don't have to revisit this situation again. It would be nice if the seller could get back to me with maybe a credit acknowledging that the item was either refurbished or an open box item. The price from my local supplier was the same except the cost of the in lever cylinder and keys would have been extra which is why I went with the amazon option. I'll definately be thinking through my purchaseing options next time. Disappointing to say the least.
