Axle for rear rollers.

The axle and caps will stay on tightly. Wish they made a stainless steel version of the axle for use in salt water. I had to cold zinc it prior to installation (which is only better than nothing). Will rust in saltwater environment.

Fit perfectly.

Not easy go install, but not the vendor's fault, just the nature of the product: it takes time and multiple attempts. I'm very satisfied with purchase.

Caps didn’t hold

Shaft works fine, end caps do not hold well. Mine came loose on first use after putting it on. I’ll weld a washer on the next one

Cheah end caps

The shaft and roller were as expected but the end caps are thin and hard to press onto the shaft. After the first failed attempt the cap was unusable. At that point I did not trust them to stay on and drilled hoes for cotter pins.

Rid ends flared and required filing

Shaft fit well and holds roller well. End caps did not fit well. The shaft ends were some what flared from manufacturing cut or shearing and required filing to get to a rounded shape that would allow the cap to be tapped on.

Don’t try to use the provided push nuts.s

OK, a steel shaft is a shaft. The PAL nuts meant to hold it in place are useless. I bought two. On one I just tapped the nuts into place. On first use of the trailer, the roller fell off in the road. No sign of the push nut. This time , I used a press to push one on squarely and firmly. I turned the shaft over to thread on the brackets and roller. Before I even started that, the nut just fell off from its own weight! I cross drilled and used cotters. So, OK hunk of steel, but that is all

Pal Nuts are made from soft metal and do not bite on shaft as supposed to.
