Seiko 14" silent wall clock - A dive watch on your wall

This Seiko wall clock looks very much like a classic Seiko dive watch. It has applied indices and legible hands. The silent sweep second hand is smooth and doesn't stutter like many of the cheaper movements. The lume on the hands and indices must be very thin. It doesn't hold a charge or glow much at all. It has been keeping good time and is easy to read from pretty much anywhere the clock is visible. At 14", it has a bold presence on the wall. Overall there is a feel of quality to the clock but it is essentially all plastic. The one gripe that I would have is that the lume pip is simply printed, where it would have been nice to have it look more realistic, like the rest of the clock. Regardless, I am really pleased with the purchase and it is a nice addition to the room.

Very accurate, amazing looking. a must have for seiko diver fans.

I love this clock. it is quiet and accurate. But If I can be overly critical I will say: The lume is not that bright. I thought it would pop out the moment you turn the lights off but it is barely noticiable . that was a huge dissapointment considering how bright a seiko diver is in the dark. Second complaint would be the price., there are other wall clocks with comparable features in the 30 dollar range. but i guess being a huge seiko diver watch they went to town with the price. It is definitely worth it if you love seiko diver watches at it is basically a huge watch. I wish my seiko sweep was a smooth as the one on my wall.

Best Authentic Diving Wall Clock

I was looking for a unique wall clock and this ticked all the things I was looking for. The clock is very quiet, but you can still hear it when you put it right next to your ear which I like. The lume you see in the pictures is charged with an Anker Bolder UV flashlight, its brightness does not last too long, but if you have a light on in your room it can charge it enough to read it for a while after(ceiling fan in my case). The lume on the hands does not seem to last as long as it does on the markers. I did not buy this because it has lume, but I did compare it to my Rolex Submariner. I would hang this clock on my wall even if it did not work because I love the way it looks.

Reloj de pared muy bonito, pero con descripción inexacta

El reloj es muy bonito, el movimiento continuo del segundero es espectacular y sin ruido. Lo devolví porque la descripción dice que es metálico plateado y realmente es plástico pintado. También es un poco más grueso de lo ideal, pero en general es un reloj muy bueno para aficionados a Seiko.

The perfect silent wall clock if you love Seiko dive watches.

This is the prefect wall clock for those of you you who like Seiko dive watches. The lume is pretty good as most Seiko dive watches should be. It runs just a touch fast, but that can be adjusted. It's a must have for Seiko lovers who want a decent sized wall clock.

It's a Seiko. Nice clock. It was a little more than I was planning to spend but other than that I like it very much. Looks better than the pictures.

Absolute Quality

Great size. Solid build. Quiet as a whisper. Second hand sweeps instead of ticking. Luminous dial for viewing in the dark. I really like it. Everything about it says "quality".

Silent and accurate

This clock does not bother my super hearing wife at night! And it’s accurate and I enjoy the design. Would be nice if it had some metal on it but would likely raise the cost. Nice enough for an extra room or guest bedroom or college dorm.

Quite big and classy!

Always been a fan of Seiko wall clocks and this one well meets the expectations. Looks like a macro-sized wrist watch :-), looks pretty rough-tough and reliable on a big wall and of course, very convenient to read the time. Even my 8yr old learnt to read the time, the conventional way, from the same. Agreed that it's pricey for a regular wall clock, but you probably would have it once and forever.

Beautiful and silent

It is a true silent sweeping second hand. Not a sound to be heard. The only negative is it is bit hard to read in low light.

And it glows in the dark. Comes with an installation kit that is sturdy. I like it.
