Comfortable for a performance saddle

I’m a big fan of the SLR Boost saddles and this was my first superflow. Similar fit and feel as the version without the cutout but more comfortable for the sensitive parts and lighter. The saddle was also true the the mfg’s claimed weight. Do note this is a performance saddled so it’s not cushy and most comfortable but comfortable enough for 5hr+ and very solid platform for getting all your power through the pedals.

Worth the price. Less padding, but you don't notice it.

This saddle is light and not super padded. However, after one 26 mile ride, you realize you just notice the saddle less. Your legs move without rubbing the seat and its comfortable in all the seating positions. Although it seems to fit aggressive riding positions the best. The only time I noticed the padding was sitting straight up and down, which isn't a position I am in very often during a ride.

Beware! Seller shipped mag rails with a ti sticker on the package. Saddle looks nothing like the photo. Black raises and not exposed plastic there the saddle splits.

No numbness!

I have experienced numbness issues with all the saddles I have tried over the past 4 years. This is the only saddle I have found which doesn’t cause numbness when riding in the drops. I love this saddle!

Comfortable and lightweight!

I haven't put this saddle to the test on the road yet but it has certainly made the trainer more enjoyable. I was surprised by how light weight this was. Listed weight was 162g but on my scale it was actually 166g. Didn't bother me, but do with that what you will. Will most likely update when I put some actual miles on this thing. UPDATE: After about 1,000 miles on this saddle, I can honestly say that I don't think about it much. No more numbness. No more pain. No thinking about my position for the rest of a ride. No more wanting to get off the bike. I just don't think about any of that at all! I know saddles are very unique and personal to each rider, but to me this was worth every penny.

Da un punto di vista costruttivo è perfetta. Massima cura per ogni minimo dettaglio. Il peso rilevato è 2g in più, quindi assolutamente in linea con le caratteristiche tecniche dichiarate (fatto questo affatto scontato). I materiali sono al top. Venditore ok. Spedizione rapida. La confezione è minimalista segno che il valore è stato concentrato più nel prodotto che nel packaging il che ne aumenta ulteriormente il pregio. Consigliare la seduta è assolutamente soggettivo. Personalmente mi sono adattato a Selle Italia sin dagli anni ‘90 e ogni volta che ho cambiato sono ritornato precipitosamente a S.I. Io la trovo comodissima. Come debutto ho iniziato con due utilizzi da oltre cinque ore senza grossi problemi dimenticandomi all’istante della precedente sella. Mi piace anche la forma che trovo pratica. Totalmente open protegge la prostata e riduce la sudorazione inguinale che alla lunga crea irritazioni. Entusiasta, non tornerei indietro. Acquistata ad un prezzo molto conveniente. Grazie ad Amazon.

Selle Italia - SLR Boost Superflow

Sella che soddisfa in pieno le mie esigenza di seduta, ho sempre pedalato con Selle Italia e mi sono sempre trovato bene. La nuovo conformazione di questa sella "compatta" la trovo molto più comoda rispetto alle precedente versioni più lunghe, si evitano spostamenti e il confort risulta assicurato, lo scarico centrale assicura meno pressioni nelle zone più delicate e permette di rimarne in sella per molte ore senza risentirne, consiglio sempre un buon pantaloncino con un buon fondello e crema protettiva per evitare le abrasioni se si decide di pedalare per uscite lunghe superiori alle 5 ore. Naturalmente serve all'inizio un po' di adattamento ma dopo il confort è garantito. Spedizione veloce e servizio impeccabile. Consigliata.

Non è ancora maturo come progetto (Boost)

Sella molto bella, leggerissima (163g) e con carro in titanio. Costa un botto ed ha problemi di fabbricazione, appena imballata sembra sia già deformata. Dopo qualche uscita inizia anche a far rumore dallo scafo, un piccolo ticchettio fastidioso. Restituita, riproverò ad acquistarla più in la sperando abbiano risolto.

Sella ottima!

Il prodotto in se è ottimo, sella leggera, rigida al punto giusto, e la grande area forata aiuta a non avere troppo carico nell'area perineale. L'annuncio potrebbe essere migliorato dando più informazioni sulle caratteristiche del prodotto. Ad esempio non è specificata bene la misura, si limita a dire M o L. Per le Selle Italia invece sono anche definite le caratteristiche S1, S2, S3. A me è arrivata una S3.
