Great for 18mo!

Perfect size for our toddler and she LOVES it. It’s still a little big on her so she can grow into it. Functional… not too many pockets. We use it as our daycare backpack… goes back and forth every day.

Head turns

Only get this backpack if you’re ready to receive compliments and head turns on what a cool backpack your child has. I was surprised my daughter chose it but now I’m so happy as we are the talk of the preschool. I hope we are voted best backpack.

Held up at camp

First of all, this backpack is incredibly cute. It held up great when my three year old was at day camp Lugging it around all day. It has a nice front pocket that held her tissue, sunglasses, and snack. The la e pocket fit a change of clothes and shoes as well as sunblock, and still had plenty of space. My only complaint is it’s too small to hold a normal folder and I’d love this for her to take to preschool. It needs an extra 1.5 inches of space for the folder.

Amazing product

We needed a new bag for my son and I seen these were about to come out and I love skipHop so i had to get it! Has a lot of space for a small bag I can keep his snacks, diapers and extra clothes all in this one bag so worth it!

Purchases for preschool. Easily fits water bottle, lunch box, and change of clothes including shoes. High quality, sturdy, and the straps fit her perfectly. Would absolutely buy again!

Design just does not hold up.

Used less than a week before the design started to come off (rocket ship design). We’ve had several of the SkipHop animal bags in the past and they’ve all ended up wearing holes in them within a year but his is the first time we’ve had one show signs of wear so quickly. Otherwise good small size pack; zippers do hold up better than most packs of similar price so that’s a plus. And they are very comfortable to wear according to my kid. Just wish they were more durable overall.

Cute but zipper broke quickly

This backpack is so cute but the lining tore immediately, the plastic front pocket scratched quickly, and the zipper broke within 2 months.

Smaller than I expected

I love skip hop products since having kids. I needed to upgrade my son's toddler backpack to the skip hop sparks 'big kid' backpack. It was worth the wait. My son is in love with his new backpack and wears it around the house pretending to be a rocketship flying into space. It's a perfect size for my son but, I thought it would've been a regular size backpack. All in all, great backpack for kids!

It's OK....

I was a little disappointed. It's cute yes but the quality seems to have went down hill. Their old version had better features (mesh divider in small pocket, the bottle holder was more secure unlike the new version) and seemed better quality.

Suitable for preschool and kindergarten

Although it says big kid bag. This is suitable for 3-5 year Olds only. It looks really good and quality is excellent.

Cute but broke quick

Very cute but disappointed the loop to hang it has already almost fallen off in a matter of weeks. Note when we hang it up the only things in it are ski pants and a couple diapers for daycare.. otherwise, it’s a perfect size for back and fourth to daycare and a cute design
