Does what is supposed to do. A bit pricey

This makes ESC adjustments a breeze. It's a bit expensive and only works for Spektrum devices. External shape is exactly the same as my Hobbywing ESC programmer with different stickers and no, the Hobbywing doesn't work with the Spektrum ESC's hence the need to buy this.

Don't need it often, but it's great

I purchased this programmer because I was having issues finding reliable information on a specific esc I own. This is a little pricy, but it is SO easy to use, and SO much easier than the normal programming. I keep it in my bag of rc tools at all times now. The lipo checker is also a nice feature. If you have multiple firma/spektrum esc's, should definitely be on your list.

Must have, easy to use

The media could not be loaded. Must have for anyone with a Spektrum ESC. Makes programming your ESC settings so much easier, as opposed to counting beeps and watching led flashes. The box is really simple to use and quite self explanatory if you have a modicum of electronic experience. (which I'd hope you do if you're getting this to program your RC truck/plane). Loving this little unit, was able to adjust all my Rc's and even found one wasn't setup the way I thought it was, so I can't wait to run the truck with its max settings.

Easy to use

Bought this so I can program my Felony ECU. Super easy to use no issues. Definitely recommended if you want to make sure your ecu's programed right.

Good for programming ESCs. Bad voltage checker.

For those of you in the know, it appears as through Avian line of Spektrum ESCs is actually made by HobbyWing and HobbyWing makes great ESCs. This programming box is identical to the one that I bought for my HobbyWing ESCs a while ago, but it has the updated USB C port. This box will help you to program your ESC parameters as wells as update ESC firmware. If you do not need to update the ESC firmware, what you should know is that you can program your Avian ESC right from the Spektrum remote control, assuming you have of the most recent IX or NX series remote control made by Spektrum. No need for this box. Also, voltage checker on this box is inaccurate as on of the other reviews mentions. Mine would should 3.78v on cell 2 and 3.82 on the rest of the cells. It would cycle and show 3.78v on cell 1, and 3.82v on the rest of the cells. I thought the unit was bad and was about to exchange it until I pulled out my HobbyWing ESC programming box to see if it would do the same. Well, you guessed it, HobbyWing programming box was showing all voltages were off as well. To be clear, I am using my trusted ICharger 308 Duo as my main lipo charger, all voltages show as 3.83v a cell on all cells there. So voltage checker on these Spektrum, or should I really say, HobbyWing programming boxes are not at all accurate.

Perfect for Arrmas with Spektrum

This works flawlessly to program the esc in capable Arrmas. As a bonus it can read the total voltage of lipo batteries as well as individual cell voltage.

Saves Time

Works as it's suppose too. Easy to use and saves time setting up ur esc. No more waiting and counting the beeps of the esc for each setting etc. The one negative is, It is a bit expensive.

Amazing programmer, better than the hobbywing programmer

I am absolutely blown away by how much better this program card is compared to hobbywing's even though uts only a rebrand, for some reason, the car functions quicker and snappier, i dont know how to explain it, it jist feels like a different card to be honest, it responds so much faster and makes the programming feel so much faster and easier, i highly recommend you buy this if you have any spektrum firma or avain esc, becahse using this card, you cna update yoyr esc and give it more power, just go to the spektrum website and download the update, trust me its super worth it, you will notice a massive power difference as it will release the full potential of your esc, moreover, you cna adjust things like brakes and horizon hobby vehicles literally come with barely any brakes, you can adjust that and also bec voltage for your servo to function much faster and have more power too!

Nice and easy to use.

This seems a really nice quality item but should really be cheaper. The display is bright and easy to read and it's easy to use both with and without being connected to a PC. I give it full marks, just make sure you have the latest app version if using it connected to a PC. However, I bought this only on the advice of Horizon Hobby Support to flash my Vorteks ESC firmware to fix an issue. After lots of to and fro they finally advised there is no firmware available to fix this issue after all. So spent over $50 for nothing.

Does not function as intended

Simply does not work with the 30 AMP AVIAN SMART ESC, although both ESC and programmer reference each other as a designated match. No troubleshooting information. Not much help from forums, even though multiple users report the same issues – does not function as intended.
