Don’t go cheap

My husband & I had bought some cheap insoles, which started getting roughed up within 2 months. We also had some Spenco’s from a couple years ago that were a little flatter, but didn’t pill or rough up. We will use Spenco from now on.

Just what I needed.....

I needed these insoles to add an additional layer of cushioning in my boots. "Timberland Men's White Ledge Mid Waterproof Ankle Boot size 10.5", Which I bought here on Amazon recently. These insoles are thin enough to not take up too much room in my boots. The insoles do not have arch ridges or heal cups. I did not need those arch supports or heal cups, my boots have those already. These just add additional thin layer of cushioning. I bought "Spenco Rx Comfort Thin Lightweight Cushioning Orthotic Shoe Insole, Women's 11-12.5/Men's 10-11.5" This size is perfect for the size 10.5 boots I have. They go in perfectly to the toe and back to the heal edge with out bunching up anywhere. No cutting or trimming needed. Update 01/30/23: These are too narrow for the footbed in the boots I needed to put them in. The arch support part of the inside foot bed of the boots cause the insole to be too narrow and I can feel the edge of the insole under my foot. It's just too uncomfortable. I will keep these for another pair of shoes. Hopefully they'll work in them.

Good insoles.

So hard to find a good insole that is just flat. For me, these have just the right amount of give. Firm, with just enough give to absorb some shock. I walk 30 miles a week give or take for exercise, and after a few weeks there's no sign of wear yet.

Ok...Just OK

As a man with larger feet (size 14) it can be tough to find foot products in the correct size. As far as size is concerned, these fit my size 14 dress shoes well. I can't say they are comfortable. They're ok, but nothing special.

Made to last

I love these inserts however I think they are too thin. The ones I used to have were much thicker and I can't seem to find those. But these are my favorite kind they last a long time and depending on your comfort level one may suit you but I prefer using two, IF they will fit in my shoe. Well made, good cushioning

Thin replacement insoles

I bought these to use in my new Allbirds Tree Breezers. Allbirds insoles are super thick, to the point that they make my heel slip out of the shoe. I replaced their insoles with these thinner ones from Spenco, and now my shoes fit perfectly. Easy to cut to size, comfortable cushiness. Keep in mind they are fairly thin and are completely flat, so if you are looking for plush or lots of support, this ain't it.

Simple but good quality

These are simple flat inserts. Not too thick. Not too thin. I prefer them over other insoles with high arches. These have no arch support but they have a nice cushion. They seem to be made of good quality material, so I expect them to last a long time.

Not what I ordered.

I ordered these based on the description “flat”. My son needs insoles but doesn’t have a lot of room in his shoes for them, and he finds high arch support and a deep heel cup uncomfortable. Other reviews said “best FLAT insoles out there”. Product description said “low arch height” (and green, though that doesn’t matter). Box clearly marked HIGH arch height, there’s a deep heel cup and they’re not even green! Very disappointed. This kind of thing seems to be happening a lot on Amazon.
