My pup destroyed it, but it was fun while it lasted

Unfortunately this wasn’t durable. My pup got it gutted and destuffed very quickly. But it was cute while it lasted.

Does not squeak!

Really cute toy. I got the first one and it did not make any noise. My dog carried it around for a while and was able to make it make a squawking sound a couple times. I asked for a replacement and they sent one. Does not make any noise. If you’re looking for a squeaky toy this is not it!

Won’t Last!

This adorable, furry toy arrived today and was a huge hit with our 2.5 year old dog. Opossum crinkles but when she discovered the grunt, she was delighted and proudly spent the next ten minutes serenading us. It was 2 more minutes before she opened opossum’s face and pulled out his stuffing! Now everyone is ????. Don!’t buy this toy unless it’s going to sit on a shelf. My dog isn’t even an aggressive chewer!

Great for smaller dogs

My Maltese/shih Tzu mix LOVES this possum! I ordered 1, and the squeaker didn’t work, so this seller sent me a new one, no problem, & said to keep the 1 I got, so the seller backs their product. It’s as cute as a possum can be lol & very durable. My dog is small but has a habit of tearing her toys apart & getting the squeakers out, & she’s had this about a month, & hasn’t gotten a tear in it yet. She carries it around the house everywhere & sleeps w this possum tho, & I will warn you, in the dark, it looks real lol. Anyway, really like this dog toy we’ve had fun playing with it

Not worth the money. Poorly made.

The first one I bought didn't grunt at all. Amazon kindly sent me a new one and let me keep the defective one. The second one did grunt, but I or my dog, had to squeeze it exactly right to make it grunt. I gave both of them to my dog to play with. Within minutes of him getting a hold of it, the first one was "bleeding" white stuffing. I found several unsewn seams that I repaired. The second one, the same thing. Within minutes it also started to bleed. I repaired that one. But it keeps happening. Just when I think I've got all the wholes closed, he goes and finds another. So basically, these toys are not put together properly and I think that for $13.00 each they should be better made. They went into the trash. My dog doesn't usually rip into a toy - they last forever.

Grunt Trumps Squeak Any Day

My Black Lab / German Shepherd mix Eddie is an slasher of squeak toys. He will play with them for two minutes until he looks for a weak point to extract the squeak mechanism, chews it like a piece of gum, then spits it out or swallows it. So everywhere around our house we have the tattered sleeves of squeak toys. Then one day while he was visiting his BFF's house, he picked up one of these Possum toys and heard it "grunt." His eyes nearly popped out of his head. He ran around and around with the toy and wanted to take hit home. Well a few days later his very own grunter appeared and he treated it like royalty. No attempts at surgery, no slashing. I ordered another one as a backup, but he still hasn't killed his favorite toy yet.
