BEST TANNER EVER.

This is seriously one of the best tanners I have ever tried. I wanted to try something new because I was using jergins forever and got tired of how it always made me orange. I am Asian and I get very pale through the fall-winter-spring. Prom is coming up in a couple of weeks and I wanted to try out a new tanner so I got st tropez, when I tell you i literally gasped at how beautiful this stuff works. It looks extremely natural as if I just went out and tanned at the beach. There is no gross tan smell and it leaves you with a beautiful streak less / orange less tan. 1000/10 GET THIS STUFF NOW!!

Great lotion and application instructions

Of all the self tanners I have used this one is by far the best! I love it. It doesn't turn you orange and no one knows it's fake. I get compliments all the time. I read a review of another product last year or the year before and these instructions were given. And have been invaluably helpful in this process. I have modified it some as I have found better and more efficient or long lasting ways to self tan since. This is how I do it and I have never had an issue. Shower and shave in the morning. If you do the tanning right after this you're pores and folicles are more open and exposed and you will get dots. That night shower and rinse off. Use your most abrasive loufa. Make sure you exfoliate everywhere. Even if you don't think you're going to tan that are. (I tan my entire body). Exfoliate your face as well. Make sure you hit the elbows, wrists, hands, privates, knees, ankles and feet twice. After you dry off lotion you entire body with a non greasy lotion. I use Lubriderm. Now for this areas I just mentioned. For your feet using a small amount of coconut oil make sure to get your heels and whatever is left on your hands rub over the toes and up towards the ankles. On all the other parts (elbows, wrists, hands, privates, knees, and ankles) moisturize those with a slightly more emollient lotion (I use the bath and body works paraffin lotion). WEARING GLOVES start with your legs using 2 pumps for each leg run this between your palms and pat on your upper leg and lower leg avoiding the knees. Rub in one are such as your lower leg and then your upper leg. When the lotion is mostly rubbed in go over your knees and in a sweeping motion go over your feet from ankles to toes. Continue moving up your body ensuring the lotion is completely rubbed in. Use the technique used for the legs on the arms. You will only need 2 pumps total for both arms. And yes you want to sweep over your arm pits. Otherwise you will have streaks. You will do your wrists and hands later. Taking a small amount of your face moisturizer (about half of what you usually use) mix it with 1 pump of tanner and apply to your face a sweep down your neck. Whatever is left over apply to your ears and behind your ears. The bottle will teall you to avoid your hairline. Gently sweep into it. If you don't you will have a steaky line. At this time if you want you can repeat the application process. I usually do depending on the time of year. If it is in the beginning or end of summer/tanning I apply less. Remember the idea is for it to look natural. Now for the hands. At this point I wash my gloves so I can save them for next time and remove them. Using a cotton ball (you should only need one) place a small pea(ish) sized amount of tanner. Starting with the underside (palm area) of your wrist start at just the base of your palm where your first bend wrinkle is. Sweep the lotion in small strokes up your wrist and then apply to the top of your wrist. Repeat this on the other wrist. Apply another very small drop of tanner to the cotton ball and allow it to soak in. Rub this on the back side of your hands up your finger tips and slightly between your fingers on the webbing. At this point you will feel sticky. Depending on how much time I have I will wander around in my robe or throw on loose fitting clothing and a t-shirt bra. Also depending on how deep you want your tan (I always go the full time as some will wash off in the shower). Keep it on the full 3 hours. I'm usually tired by the time I get off work go through this step and relax so I sleep in it. I have never had a problem. When you shower the first time it is best to simply gently wash with soap and do not scrub. Yes you can shave but don't be rough. Pat yourself dry. I have found that most people have the issue of their tanner fading splotchy. I will tell you this is a lack of proper moisturizing. Every day after your shower use coconut oil. Not a lot just enough on your arms, legs and feet. Then go back over your entire body with lotion. After I discovered this technique by accident I have continued this year round. I hope this helps! Doesn’t smell like self tanner!

I feel like I often read on self-tanner that it doesn’t smell like the stereotypical self tanner. I’ve tried Coco and Eve and still felt like that smelled like that weird self tanner smell. But this is the first one that to me, truly doesn’t! I will say it was a bit sticky but considering the short amount of time to wear it, I’ll take it! Love this self tanner.

nice tan!

I love the smell of this. I didn't even really notice it, but every time I go to a meeting after applying this I get so many compliments on my scent. I've even gotten a compliment on my scent after I washed this off. It gives a nice, even tan. It lasts for a few days and comes off really nicely. It doesn't streak at all. The patching only happens after a few days and isn't bad, super easy to exfoliate off. The only thing I will say about this is that I prefer a deeper, darker tan and this did not really give me that, especially after a day or two's wear. It definitely makes a difference and looks great and makes you glow, but my preference is a bit darker. Also, if you put this on your face it does seep into your pores a bit (like most other body self tanners). Overall, great for the price.

Worked for my wedding

I am pale. Like real pale. So when I got engaged I was stressed because white just blends in. This stuff saved me for wedding showers, bachelorette parties and I even trusted it for my wedding. It gave a nice natural color that gave English contrast to my dress. I like it despite it being expensive.

The best Self Tan EVER!

Brilliant, never gives patchy results (and I've used fake tan for decades)!! The secret to avoid any self made errors is to follow specific instructions to the letter. Thoroughly exfoliate 24 hours before applying the tanning mousse. Douse skin with thick moisturiser & leave on overnight. Also use extra moisturiser on hard skin areas, elbows, knees, heels. Next day, shower and quickly exfoliate again. Follow up with any skin moisturiser and let this dry for at least an hour. Simply apply mousse onto the tanning mitt. I use fine rubber gloves on both hands and tape them at wristwatch level. This prevents hands staining areas that do not normally tan & gives a natural tan to equal a 2 weeks holiday in St.Tropez! After legs & arms, and still with rubber gloves, apply to mitt & sweep over back and shoulders. Allow to dry and reapply a lesser amount of mousse over the areas you've done. While this dries, still with gloves & mitt, simply wipe the mitt over your face, up into hairline & down all neck & throat,, include outer skin of your ears. Now time for feet, backs of hands and face. Apply small amount of MOISTURISER ONLY over toes & toe nails, plus ankle bones, just a light cover over breast bone, eyebrows, inside wrinkles around eyes & nose. All this helps to prevent tell tale signs of fake tan. When all areas of moisturiser is dry, apply 1 pump of tan mousse and sweep over all remaining areas except hands, WHEN everywhere else has tanning mousse working, carefully wash your hands with rubber gloves still on. Then carefully remove one glove. Use the mitt with the still gloved hand to quickly sweep the mitt over backs of hands. For perfection, apply moisturiser in-between fingers & over knuckles. Soak into palms of Hands too. This will weaken any accidental mousse splashes, Remove the other glove and repeat the application on the other hand. Phew, at last you can have a cuppa, wear a nightie or loose flowing dress so that the tan mousse won't build in wrong place and won't rub any off. Leave for 1 hour and check tanning development. It should look like you've sunbathed for 3 hours. The mousse will continue to deepen for as long as you leave it on. After MAXIMUM of 3 hours, take a quick shower but do not use any body wash or soap,. This is to remover excess mousse only and the tan will continue to develop and deepen over next 8 hours, Only shower & shampoo hair after a total of 11 hours since mousse applied. If totally necessary. repeat the entire process no earlier than 48 hours after first applying. ENJOY!! I HOPE YOU'VE FOUND THESE HINTS & TIPS HELPFUL. NOTE:. Natürliches, frisches und gesundes Aussehen!

Wie die meisten, der sehr blassen Menschen, habe ich schon sehr viel ausprobiert, um ein wenig braun zu werden. Der natürliche Weg - das Sonnenbaden - war aber, wie wahrscheinlich bei den anderen Blassnasen auch, eher mau. Entweder sieht man nichts, weil man sich - vernünftigerweise - gut eingecremt bzw. im Schatten aufgehalten hat oder man ist verbrannt. Und nach rot kommt wieder weiß. Warum erzähle ich das? Naja, damit die, die sich darin wieder erkennen, erahnen könnten, dass es auch für sie funktioniert. Denn dieses Mouse macht es einem so einfach. Einfach die Flasche schütteln bis der Inhalt nicht mehr flüssig ist und dann den ganzen Körper damit in kreisenden Bewegungen eincremen. Ich bin an den Beinen angefangen und habe mit den Armen aufgehört, weil man sich mit den Armen zwischendurch einfach mal berührt und ich sicher gehen wollte, dass ich mir an den Armen nichts wieder abwische. Hört auf jeden Fall auf den Tipp euch zu peelen und die trockenen stellen vorher mit eurer Lotion einzucremen. Hände und Füße habe ich nur mit den Resten vom Handschuh leicht ausgeblendet. Und bei den Händen darauf achten, dass ihr beim eincremen eine lockere Faust macht. Dann bleiben die Fältchen an den Fingerknöcheln nicht weiß. Für das Gesicht verwende ich ein Bräunungsserum von Clarins, dass lässt sich in die Tagescreme mischen und besser verteilen. Den Handschuh habe ich von St. Moritz. Hier gab es auch nichts auszusetzen. Nun zum Ergebnis: Ich sehe nach der ersten Anwendung (2 Stunden Einwirkzeit) nicht aus wie andere nach zwei Wochen Ägypten, aber mein Hautton sieht gesund und frisch aus. Es hat meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nicht nach den üblichen Selbstbräunern gestunken und das wichtigste... keine Streifen. Es sieht absolut ebenmäßig und natürlich aus. Ich werde die Einwirkzeit das nächste Mal verlängern und dann nochmal berichten.

Absolut Positiv überrascht!!

Das Produkt ist jetzt seit über einem halben Jahr schon mein absolutes Lieblingsprodukt!! Ich habe keinerlei Hautprobleme bekommen, (das 1. Bild war der Hautverträglichkeitstest gewesen) nach dem Auftragen ist, ein meiner Meinung nach ein absolut perfektes Ergebnis vorhanden und auch trotz meiner sehr hellen Haut inklusive Sommersprossen sieht es sehr sehr schön aus! In den ersten 3- 4 Tagen ist das Ergebnis perfekt, danach wird es langsam blasser und geht nach und nach durch das duschen und schwitzen ab. Das ist finde ich aber völlig in Ordnung! Daumen hoch - absolut empfehlenswert!! ????

Tatsächlich scheint der Preis gerechtfertig!

Ich nutze seit bald 6 Jahren nur noch Selbstbräuner und habe einige ausprobiert. Bisher nutzte ich St.Moritz, da es immer hieß, dass dieser Selbstbräuner ebenso gut sei und zudem wesentlich günstiger. Das kann ich, nachdem ich mir endlich doch mal den St.Tropez Bräuner bestellt habe, nicht bestätigen. Vorab: Ich habe mich allerdings vor der Nutzung ausgiebig gepeelt und eingecremt, um meinen noch bestehenden, abbröckelnden Selbstbräuner loszuwerden. Das könnte zu dem sehr guten Ergebnis beigetragen haben, normalerweise bin ich zu faul für diese Prozedur und "mach einfach". Der Selbstbräuner ist sehr ergiebig (Nutzung mit Selbstbräuner Handschuh), lässt sich gleichmäßig verteilen (Bodylotion wurde morgens aufgetraten, Selbstbräuner am frühen Abend verwendet) und riech überhaupt nicht unangenehm. Nach einer Stunde war bereits ein frischer Teint ersichtlich, nach 2 eine Urlaubsbräune ... ich habs über Nacht draufgelassen und bin jetzt knackig braun, Streifen seh ich auch keine =) Ich werde wieder diesen Selbstbräuner kaufen.

Even, natural looking but does take more hours of you're pale

This is the best tan I've ever owned. Although I find I have to sleep in it overnight and the 3 hour doesn't tan enough. (I'm porcelain pale). I put it on, sleep in it, wash it off and then it develops further. It gives me a nice, even natural looking tan I've struggled to find elsewhere. It even tans my chest alright, and fake tan never sticks on my chest! Used it before my holiday and felt confident in every bikini! The picture is the tan after I'd been in Turkey for three days and swam everyday.
