Nice style, but natural wood.

I returned the first one because it had slivers and a few sharp edges (cuts ) in the wood - not a fun surprise when you are handling it. However, the serving tray is adorable, although it appears to be made of stained natural wood with no protective coating. Hence, the possible reason it had sharp spots and slivers. We used this for a smores bar and it worked perfectly. It is a very cute style and the replacement tray was better quality than the one I returned.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I was searching Amazon for something I could use on the small table in the kitchen, where my husband ends up laying things on. Seemed like the table always looked cluttered. I got this for him, because it had a Country look to it and now he has his stuff all organized in this wooden box! He loves it and I love it, so there is no more messy small table. Perfect for what I wanted it for. :)

too small but love

I do love these trays, but I underestimated the size. I also emailed the seller to see if I could stain the wood, and never heard back. I am using these for creamer, sugar, coffee items, etc. I would stain them if I knew I could. That is my only gripe, that I did not hear back. Other than that, love the leather straps at ends, and the compartments. Would order bigger next time.

Rustic Design and Sturdy Structure

I purchased some candles from a school fundraiser but needed something to 'display' them for a Christmas gift, this tray was a perfect option. My niece loved the gift and has repurposed the tray on her table to hold napkins, salt/pepper and a seasonal candle making a lovely centerpiece in her quaint starter home.

solid real wood, nicely put together - DOESN'T SCRATCH

Love this tray. Its perfect for my island to hold dog treats, remote, keys, etc. Well built & solid. NO it does NOT scratch my granite at all. Natural wood so I may stain it a bit darker. The sections are perfect. I absolutely love this tray!!
