My son loves his lunchbot!
My son loves his lunchbot. I was a little hesitant and not sure it would hold up to toddler wear and tear. But it looks brand new-minus the modified plate that read "suck uk" and got painted out. Updated: about two years of use and our little lunchbot is going strong. My youngest son likes to use it to stand on, like a stool. He's a big boy (38lbs at 3yo), so it got a little bent. But it's still useable and latches. I throw the lunchbox in the dishwasher weekly and it's done well in there too. I've now purchased a guitar lunch box for my 3yo. I will write separate review for that.

I bought this as something of a gag gift for a friend of mine who collects vintage toy robots. He loved it, and was delighted to find that his favorite toy robot (which looks almost identical to the lunch box) fits inside like it was made for the job. He now diplays it that way. As a lunch box - it seems well made, but a bit on the small side. The only issue I had with it was the manufacturer's name printed on the back (fortunately not in large letters). I'm not sure that "SUCK UK" is entirely appropriate for children.

Missing a Screw in Latch
This arrived with one of the "screws" (not sure of the proper name) missing from the latch. So the latch is hanging by one corner. It's a gift for my son this weekend. Now I'm worried a replacement might not arrive in time.

My Son absolutely loves this lunch box! It can hold much more than I thought, Sandwich, fruit, capri-sun, 2 granola bars, and a snack bag with nuts. There a bit more room to pack more if need be. Great purchase, Very happy with it.

I had misgivings about the size of this lunch box but it's like the TARDIS, this thing! It can hold way more than I would have imagined and is really good quality. The printing is perfect, too. Bright, vibrant and fun. ^_^ If I have any criticism at all it's that the lunch box was empty and could, so easily, have been bashed or dented in transit. It wouldn't take much to put a block of styrofoam or something inside to reinforce it, just in case. Otherwise, 5 star.

Got this for my son and he loves the design and the fact no-one else has one like it. It is a good size for a little sandwich, crisps, mini choc and fruit. Good for yogurt too as it won't get crushed in the metal case. Not enough room for his drink bottle but he can just put that in his backpack.
