XXL?! No Way! Also, thin material feels flimsy.

I love Tard & I already have one t-shirt with her on it, the 3 faces full moon one (making fun of the 3 wolves/moon shirt), so I got this one too. I ordered an XXL. When I took it out of the envelope I was like, wow this is more like a Large, not even XL. I also noticed the material, though 100% cotton, was thin & stretchy. My other t-shirt is a beefy-T and I was hoping this one would be too. At any rate, the first thing I do with new t-shirts is throw them in the wash & dryer to see how they hold up in the laundry, and soften them up. When it came out of the dryer, I was shocked how much it shrank! Now it looked like a Medium. I am not joking or exaggerating, it got TINY. I put it on & spent the next 10 minutes stretching it out. It's tight on my arms & by the armpit, which I'm constantly pulling at, and it's so short it barely makes it to the top of my pants. I was able to stretch it out enough to wear it, but there is just no way in hell this is an XXL, regardless of what the tag on it says. If you are planning on getting one, I would suggest getting one size larger than what you normally wear, even 2 sized bigger if you prefer your t-shirts to be loose, like I do. The graphic is fine & looks very sharp, like the kind of t-shirt print that will last a fairly long time. But for $23 this t-shirt should be beefy-t quality. It is far overpriced for the quality & the fact that it not only didn't look like the size it was supposed to be to begin with, but shrunk 2 more sizes in the dryer. Next time maybe I will hang dry it.

Is the size right for you?

As a female, I never know whether to order a medium or large so I tend to err on the side of large. This shirt is made from quality cotton but a medium would have been a more appropriate fit for me. I sit on the boarder of medium and large. This shirt is huge and a medium would have been a much better fit for me. Still, it does have my favorite "Grumpy Cat" that makes me so happy every time I see her face so size isn't that big a deal for me. If you are a bra size 36 C I would recommend you go with medium this time.

Impulse purchase

I saw Grumpy cat on TV & decided I HAD to have this funny Grumpy Cat t-shirt for a friend's birthday present. I received it quickly...a few days later...just in time for the birthday. The t-shirt is made of a thin fabric. That's fine since wearing a black t-shirt in the summer can be HOT. The week after I received this t-shirt I found it in the men's section of Walmart for half the price. Thicker fabric. No big deal but good to know. Like I said, it was an impulse purchase. My friend didn't laugh--PERFECT for her!

Largest XL shirt I've ever seen..

Nice shirt but way too large. I'm 6'0 170lbs. and I ordered an XL thinking it would shrink down to a large and be fine like most cotton t-shirts I own, but the XL seems more like a XXL at least. Order down a size if you don't like your shirts to be really baggy.

Great t-shirt

I've only worn this shirt once since I got it, but I love it. Perfect for expressiong one's inner curmudgeon. I wore it while shopping and people were stopping me in the aisles to say what a great shirt it was. I ordered a small and a medium based on other reviews of the sizing. The small is snug, I usually wear a men's medium but the medium in this shirt is cut full, too big for me.

Fits a little small

I got this for my husband. He is about 6 foot, 190, usually wears a Large. This fits but is a little shorter in length than he usually wears and could stand to be bigger overall. Problem is the XL would probably be too big! He is keeping it and really likes it as he is a huge Grumpy Cat fan. It is made of a soft material and does seem to be preshrunk.
