The numbers are very easy to read. They are clear the thermometer attaches to any wall or post easily.

Love the Old Timey Look

This is a cool old time looking thermometer. We like that it needs no batteries. The temperature readings are accurate.

Don't buy

This thermometer is NOT accurate 90% of the time. So frustrating. If the breeze blows just the slightest bit it swivels and makes it hard to read out my kitchen window. Don't get me wrong, it's very pretty and love the look but it just doesn't work.

Attractive, accurate. Not especially sturdy, but doesn't need to be.

The build quality feels kind of cheap, as with a lot of made in China stuff, but the face is attractive and easy to read. It came with two small o-rings, not sure what to do with them, instructions don't mention them. Some reviews complain about accuracy - I'd say return it and get another. They can't all be bad, and mine wasn't. Your mileage may vary.
