Great base layer for mountains
My daughter hates the feel of wool; she thinks it’s too itchy. These solve the problem nicely. Terramar is sold at Outdoor shops and appear to be good quality. I bought a medium for my 50 inch tall, 65 pound child, and they fit well. We bought 2 sets of Terramar as well as a set of the expensive merino wool thermals, and she much preferred these. She wore these as a base layer on a trip to the mountains. The weather was below freezing most days, and she was warm. On days when it was in the twenties, I layered these under the wool thermals. I hand-washed them out every couple of uses and they dried overnight (the zero humidity probably helped too). Great shirt - have several via several purchases
I own several of these shirts at this point via several purchases. Its a mid-weight shirt. They are way warmer, in my opinion, than the comparable weight shirt in Under Armour, or Nike. (at a much better price!) I use this shirt for my base layer when exercising in cold weather. They are really warm for that purpose. I find them to be too warm if the temperatures are above 20°F - with only a lined pullover windbreaker over it. I also wear them for the brisk morning walk with my dog. I wear one of these shirts, a t-shirt and a lined windbreaker for temps down to 10°F. We are out for 55-60 minutes and I never get cold - and i am that person in the office that always has a heater going. Durability is not comparable to said brand names. I have had an arm seam start opening up on two of these shirt in one cold season (which in Colorado, granted, is long). They are getting worn and washed quite a bit. However, other brands have been put through the same treatment and have lasted fine. The issue is nothing a quick stop at the sewing machine can't fix. The fabric itself is durable. Frankly, for the price difference and the warmth difference for weight, ... my first sentence covers it and the fact that I plan to buy two more says the rest.

Soft and comfortable
My son loves this shirt. It is soft and comfortable. I ordered a size larger than normal so that it wouldn't fit too tight, like many base layers. However, if your intention is to use it as a base layer, I would recommend ordering your normal size.

It's so soft and hugs your body. My son loves to sleep in this base layer, wouldn't take it off. So I bought him a second one. It keeps him dry when skiing.

Great product!
Fit was as expected and my daughter loves the way the fabric feels. Works just as well as her Under Armor base layer and it cost so much less. So far it has held up through several washes, 3 soccer games and more than a few days of school and regular use. Great product!
