Great beach vacation shoes!

This was my first pair of Tevas and I have been pleasantly surprised! I bought them for a beach vacation and they took a few days to break in though I found them quite comfortable both on the beach and walking around. They do squeak quite a bit when wet though I expected this to be the case. If you are familiar with the soft sole Chacos, I do not think they are as comfortable as those sandals. However, for the price, they are a great choice that I will happily continue to wear!

These shoes saved me at Silver Dollar City

I listened to the other reviews and normally would buy a 5/12 or 6 but sized down to a 5 and they fit perfectly. I specifically bought these shoes for going to Silver Dollar City. I needed shoes that would stay on during roller coasters, be ok to get wet, but most of all that I could walk all day on black top and not want to chop my feet off my the end of the day to relieve the pain. These seriously checked all those boxes! Everyone I was with by the end of the day was saying how bad their feet hurt and mine weren’t bothering me at all! I would recommend wearing them a bit before if you have anything coming up you are wanting to wear them to just to kind of break them in. I brought 2 other pairs of shoes on the trip just in case and only wore these the whole time. I will be buying more colors here very soon!!

Got these on sale for $7, and I love them! Yes, that's correct! SEVEN DOLLARS! I'm not sure if it was a fluke on Amazon or what was going on, but I am so happy and impressed with these sandals! They are comfy and fit true to size.

Nubs on the interior sole of the sandal don't work for us.

First we LOVE Teva sandals. I cannot count the number of pairs that my wife, our son, his spouse, and their children, and our daughter have purchased. This pair just didn't work for my wife. There are nubs on the interior of the sole that the bottom of the user's sole rests upon. I am sure it is to help anchor the shoe to the user. In the case of my wife and this pair, it is intolerable. The nubs hurt her feet just to try to walk in the sandal. So, it got three stars - five stars for Teva and 1 for the nubs.....

Smaller than my usual size

my sneakers and other shoes are 8.5’s with the occasional 9, and I barely fit a 10 comfortably. But they are very supportive and comfortable! I’d recommend doing try before you buy to find the right size.

Not as good as the old design

My Tevas from 18 years ago finally gave up and I had to replace them. These were so cute in the colors I was happy to press buy. After wearing them on a 10 day vacation in Alaska in summer here are my observations. They are not as sturdy as my old Tevas. The arch support is not as strong and the sole is thinner than on the older design. The sole also seemed to stay wet for days after hiking through water which is weird and is irritating. The point of these shoes is that you can hike through water and the shoe will dry in 24 hours. I also decided to size up because I have found that I like my summer shoes a bit larger for hiking. The 7 was exactly the same sole size as my old 6 when I held them up to each other. Overall they are cute but not nearly as sturdy or functional for outdoor hiking as I’d became accustomed to as the old design. I also wore a pair of new Chaco’s on the trip and these were still better than the chaco’s in terms of getting annoying pebbles out of the shoe easily with a heavy back pack on.

A Bit Pricey

Nice sturdy outdoor shoe. I bought these for stability after having recently recovered from knee surgery. $50 is a bit pricey for rubber and cording, but hey....what isn't expensive anymore?

Perfect for Wide feet

I'm going Backpacking and wanted some comfy stylish sandals, I've seen everyone raving about tevas, I was a bit sceptical as I have wide feet and didn't think they would fit.... But they do and PERFECTLY! The velcro straps don't even look like Velcro straps which I love! Cannot wait to take them around the world with me!

Klasse Sandalen

Ich hatte diese Sandalen für den Thailandurlaub gekauft. Genial! Mit FlipFlops wollte ich nicht durch die Gegend laufen. Viel zu unbequem und nicht gut für die Füße. Diese Sandalen sind eine Wohltat für die Füße bei dem Klima. Bequem, abfedernd, man kann durchs Wasser latschen, oder einfach so herumwandern. Also so richtig auf den Berg würde ich nicht damit, aber durch den Park oder wenn man mal etwas klettern musste um zum Strand zu kommen oder zum Wasserfall über Stock und Stein, ist das kein Problem.

Leicht und haltbar

Ich habe mir die Damensandalen gekauft obwohl ich ein Kerl bin, weil 41 bei Herren wohl als relativ häufig nachgefragte Größe teurer ist, als im Damensegment, wo diese Größe eher im oberen Bereich eingeordnet ist. Ich weiß auch nicht, worin bei diesem und dem vergleichbaren Herrenmodell der Unterschied besteht - vielleicht sind die Riemen etwas schmaler, um einen zierlicheren Gesamteindruck zu schaffen? Für mich haben die Schuhe jedenfalls ohne Einschränkung "funktioniert". Auch in Bezug auf die Haltbarkeit. Trotz durchaus robusteren Gebrauchs, eben als Trekkingsandalen, hat sich weder eine Sohle aufgelöst, noch wurden Riemen aus dem Material gerissen. Insofern kann ich mit gutem Gewissen die volle Punktzahl geben.
