Impressed
Wasn't sure about this fan controller at first. Used it for an itx build. The motherboard only had one system fan plug and I was using six fans (I believe the cooler the better lol) all fan speeds are controlled by the first plug on the controller. Works as advertised!

Awesome Buy!
Product arrived as described, and was a breeze to install. Definitely a great tool if you want to add fans without stressing if you are going to burn out the header or not.

Worked but wouldn’t report fan speed.
Worked but didn’t report fan speed.

Works great with ASUS ROG Strix motherboards
Like many people in the market for a product like this, I build a PC with a 5 fan design, but my motherboard only has three headers for case fans. This product is straight forward and works great. It extends the 4-pin fan support of my ASUS motherboard and gives me ample outputs for additional fans.

Get Organized
This unit gives you an easy way to organize the fans and argb lights on your computer. You can route all the wires to one place and then this will hook up to the proper motherboard connection. Rather than having multiple wires connecting with plugs on your motherboard this enables you to have only one which also makes adding new fans or lighting easier, you can just plug them into this hub and all is configured.

Worked fine for me and looks nice.
I made my first build using this for my fans. I made sure the glossy socket had a pmw fan in it and filled the rest of noctua fans, the brown silent kind and the 3000 rpm kind. The velcro didn't stick on at first to my case and would come off when I removed the hub but leaving it for a time somehow helped the glue settle and I don't have that issue anymore. I stuck it to an unused ssd bracket or whatever. I'm sorry I'm know knowledgeable on computer stuff to give a more indepth review. It worked exactly as expected, it looks decent, the velcro it came with did stick and my fans are all controlled by the main signal.

Its Great for Single Zone Control!
I desperately needed a Fan Hub after my Capacitor for the CPU fan headers popped. This stood in for a good while until I had to change they types of fans in the system. While it has many connectors for fans, it only has one to the mainboard. sadly it is only controllable up to the lowest speed fan attached to the device. (So if you have two types of fans, one 1000rpm one and two 1600rpm ones it only reads the theoretical maximum of the 1000rpm and the others aren't full speed.) maybe if not connected to the mainbaord it boosts all to max? but that would be too loud. Not complaining, only downsides, great device for what it does. Still highly recommended for similar zone control. (IE Front / Rear / Side) (Top / Top / Bottom) (Front x3 / Top x3) Its generally best to have the GPU sidefan on a separate controller to give it a more direct pressurized environment FYI.

Only 1 fan controlled via PWM
Only the fan connected to the first slot was controllable via PWM, all the other fans ran at 100%.

Dangerous product. Damaged my PSU.
I ordered two of these. One functioned normally. The other had a short in it and poured smoke out of it. I've set up many fan hubs. This is the firs time I've used Thermaltake's product. This ended up damange the 12v rail it was hooked up to. I was running two Nelvana 12v fans through this hub with the hope of adding more. Do not buy.

works well to power multiple fans
This works well to power up to 10 fans.... if you are using less, a simple splitter might be a better option though, this doesnt function as much more than a 10 way power splitter.
