Love these coasters. They absorb the water and add beauty to the table.

They aren't absorbant, the water just ponds on top and makes a mess on the table.

Does not absorb moisture

Due to the design on top this coaster is not absorbent. Got them as a gift and they look nice but not what we expected from a thirsty stone product.

Not Absorbent At All!!

You expect a certain attribute when thinking of "Thirstystone". You expect it to soak up all that condensation that drips down your glass or bottle. These coasters don't measure up to the name. Moisture puddles on the top and runs off the sides, ruining the table underneath. I ended up scratching off some of the painted coating to get some kind of protection, but it was minimal. They are very pretty, but only good for hot or temperature-neutral containers. For my needs, this was a complete waste of money.

Poor quality

We have had these all of 24 hours and... A. 2 of them have already broke. B. They are not absorbent, water does pool up on the coaster and then when you lift your cup up it drips on you. Would not buy again, would not recommend, and I certainly would not gift them.

Not Thirsty Stone

Not actual Thirstystone brand. Not made of same materials. Material inside are not all that absorbent and the design is similar to wallpaper, waterproof wallpaper.
