Great safety toe work boot for wide feet.
Took a chance on these after Timberland unfortunately discontinued their Titan XL work boot. These are a very sturdy, durable boot; I have been wearing these daily for about a year and a half and they are still going strong! The biggest draw for me is the XL toe box, if you have wide feet and have issues with safety toe inserts rubbing your toes, you should definitely give these a try!

Good boot, BUT...
I do not normally review products here, but as footwear is a pretty important item and both expensive and time consuming to shop for, I think it is worthwhile providing a review that may assist others in search of similar footwear. First of all, I was looking for a well formed, supportive boot which would both protect the foot and minimize flexing (I have metatarsal problems from an old march fracture that can be easily aggravated); I do not work heavy construction or anything like that and those of you who do your needs are different I'm sure. I was looking for a steel shank, but it appears this is nowhere near as common as it once was, being replaced with various fiberglass or composites instead. While steel toe is a nice to have, it is not a must have feature for me and is the primary problem I have with this boot. In Timberland hiking boots I wear an 11, regular width; in this boot I first tried an 11 extra wide having read other reviews of similar Timberland work boots which warned they are on the narrow side. I could have lived with that width I think, but the toe box was far too small for me. I could barely stand to wear them. I sent them back for a 12 extra wide and while this is the perfect width for me, and the rest of the boot feels great, the toe box is still too small and within hours was seriously impinging on the sides of my big toes. Given the degree of discomfort and annoyance so quickly, from a part of the boot that will not "break in," I must conclude that, at least for me, this boot's safety toe is just too small for my feet in a size that otherwise fits the rest of my foot securely. I am going to have to return this pair as well and continue looking for a boot, perhaps without a steel toe altogether, that will fit my needs. As it is, the boot itself is just too uncomfortable to wear. In short, this is a good or possibly even great boot, but is more narrow than other Timberland products I am familiar with (so order large), and has a steel toe cap that is too intrusive for me to use. I wish to compliment Amazon and Timberland both for the ease with which returns and such have been processed. Timberland also offers a 30 day money back guarantee for comfort fit that is included in the box when the package arrives.

Good Boot
Currently rating boot at 4 stars, will update after a couple of months to make sure they are durable. Normally buy the Timberland Pro Boondoc, what I like about these they are lighter and overall much smaller. Took about a week to break in, but honestly the boots feel very good. Definitely recommend to purchase , would rate a 4.5 and if I get at least a good 6-8 months from them will rate a 5.

Railroad Ballast Approved!!!
4500+ hours (2 years) of walking on railroad ballast... And the boots held up pretty well. The toe cap is starting to separate... And the sole is wearing thin at the ball of my feet. But overall I'm definitely pleased with them. I've tried all the top brands and these by far out performed. So I bought another pair.

Look nice but NOT AT ALL COMFORTABLE! Caused arch pain and lower back discomfort.
The Hyperion was a great looking boot with all of the features of the Endurance 6" boot except for the comfort level. I've been true the Timberland ENDURANCE boot for about 6 years now and I can honestly say they are more comfortable than any tennis shoes I have ever had or owned. I do replace my boots annually because the plastic nose cap starts to separate from the Endurance boot allowing water to soak my feet. I am in my boots for a good 10 hours, so they do get their use. I thought I would try the Hyperion because of the look and heck I could not go wrong with the Timberland brand..... Well I could not be more wrong! Maybe its just my foot but I did return the Hyperion and will stick with the Endurance boot. I wore the Hyperion boot for 2 weeks thinking they may get better and they never did! Hopefully this review helps you. Timberland if you read the reviews I think you could improve the Endurance by adding stitching to the nose cap like some of your other brands. Thank you!

The first time he put them on and wore them all afternoon , they were comfortable and light.
My husband had a hard time finding boots that he can work in all day (8 to 10 hours) without his feet getting tired. Timberline PRO HYPERION fit that bill. You can’t buy the wide sizes at the store, they are only available on line.

Best boots ever!!
Been in construction for 12 years and military before that, these boots are the only kind I will ever buy from now on. Insoles are amazing and most comfortable out of the box! No break in just absolute comfort! Do yourself a favor and buy!!!! I’ve tried all the $200+ boots and my feet were killing me for weeks and even months but never again! Worked so well I bought another pair for when these wear out.
