Perfect replacement

Whilst visiting my mom, her watch stopped. I did a quick search for the product number online and was happy to find the same one here. She's worn the watch for over a decade so switching it out for the same one was ideal. Watch arrived quickly, in perfect unused condition. I adjusted the band for her which was easy peasy. She's happy which makes me happy. I'm a Casio woman myself but thanks go to Timex for continuing to make quality watches at an affordable price.

I'd give it 5 stars if the crown was easier to pull out!

I love Timex watches in general, but was surprised that this one had a crown that was so difficult to pull out, that I had to use mini pliers. But once I got the correct time, I pushed it back in, and dread when I will have to change the time again when they change the clocks. It was not worth the hassle of returning, since the price was so good, and I used my Amazon points, so it technically didn't even cost me anything. But the watch works great otherwise, keeping great time. I also love the elegant band, which is easy to adjust.

Pics Showing How to Adjust But I No Longer Recommend This Watch

UPDATE - HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT I have not been wearing this on a daily basis because it was summer and I was not working. I recently started wearing it again and was dismayed to find that the mesh band somehow got broken so that tiny wires poke out and it is unwearable. I would understand if I had got it caught on something but I did not. I cannot even imagine how this could have happened. The warranty does not cover the band and the return period has passed. I have a picture to post but it doesn't show up well. I guess when I have the time I will look for a different type of watchband for this watch. My Original Review: I happened to see this in a brick and mortar store. Otherwise I am sure I never would have thought to try this style. It doesn't check every box exactly, for what I want in a watch, but it gets extra credit on some scores. I like the look and it is keeping time. It is ridiculous that it doesn't come with instructions for adjusting and securing the strap. The link provided on the paper enclosed with the watch, leads to nothing. There is no manual for this watch and watchband, online or otherwise. You can google to find YouTube videos showing how to adjust the strap. It requires a tiny screwdriver or similar small tool. I used an unbent paper clip, so you don't need anything special. The tool is just used as a tiny lever to flip a piece of metal. With that little metal piece flipped up, you can slide the clasp anywhere along the band. It took me a couple of tries to find the sweet spot because you can't do this with the watch on your wrist. To keep the clasp in the desired place, you again use your mini-lever to flip the little piece of metal till it snaps back into place. The downsides of this band are twofold: (1) If you have small wrists, you will have a couple of inches of excess strap that will slightly get in the way every time you put the watch on. (2) The clasp can look like it is secured when it is not. With so many reports of the clasp coming open, I have been watching it very closely. It can seem to snap into place but upon closer examination, you can see that is slightly askew and not all the way secured. We are talking a half a millimeter here, so not obvious unless you look closely. Sometimes, instead of the two metal pieces being exactly parallel, you may see a slight angle. A bit of pressure fixes it. I am submitting some photos to show all this stuff.

Pretty! May cause rash....

All of the reviews saying the clasp is odd/fails are correct. It can be difficult to get on and off *correctly* and I have had it fall of twice when I am sure it was on correctly. However, the material and design are lovely and mine hasn't scratched yet. I've worn mine two weeks. My job involves a lot of walking around, so I may be swinging my arms around more than most people do. I do love this watch other than having to worry about the clasp. I have a pretty small wrist and this doesn't look too large on it. I'm not actually sure how to adjust the strap- my fiancé did it for me and I haven't had to adjust it on my own since. This watch may be hard to adjust originally- I am not sure. This is great for the price when I consider the other watches I've spent similar amounts on. It's professional and clean looking- good for casual or professional outfits. Update!! The end piece of the strap caused a rash but the rest of the watch didn't cause a rash. What? Lowered from 4 to 3 stars. It still is cute.... jut can't wear it... yes, I do normally wear a watch lower on my arm and moved it up more for the picture.

A great choice that combines fashion and function!

This watch has a classy style and is easily readable. Its flexible textured band pushes "practical" up a notch to "distinctive" in its look. And, through long experience with the Timex brand, I trust it to last for years. Extremely satisfied with my choice.

Beautiful and durable

Easy to adjust, locks into place securely, and I can wear it in the shower. I have a small wrist, which makes it challenging to find a watch that fits. Standard "buckle" straps have to go into the tightest hole, and the end of the strap sticks out and looks ugly. I wish it had a backlight. Not as easy to read as black hands and numerals, but much prettier

Mooi horloge

Het horloge was goed verpakt en arriveerde zelfs nog eerder (voor de kerst!) dan was afgesproken. Helaas kan ik het nog niet dragen omdat ik wegens de lockdown het horlogebandje niet op maat kan laten maken. Dus nog wel even geduld hebben. Het is een mooi horloge, precies zoals getoond op de website.
