Great Gym Addition
I had previously purchased the two larger sizes of this soft weighted ball in stores but they didn't have the 6 pound one so I went on the hunt. I was happy when I was able to find it. The ball itself is a rubber that is smooth but due to the type of rubber it is it allows for an easy grip while working out. They are soft as in the description so if you accidently let go of it it's not likely to do any damage. I like how easy they are to clean, a wet rag and a little soap and they are back to normal. They were a great addition to my home gym!

Shipped in Open Faced Package
This item arrived with the shipping label taped right on to the open faced ball packaging. Meaning the ball was scuffed with black stains and marks during shipping. Looks like a good product but isn’t presentable after the way it was shipped.

it's a ball
The greenish yellow appears to be a very durable covering. It is easy to grip. It is slick skinned but because of the internal filling you're able to get a good hand hold. I'm using at home to enhance physical therapy exercises.

I had no idea I could get such a great workout with only 6lbs. This ball is perfect for exercise. I toss it with my kids and do other activities with it. I like that it is softer and flexible.

Got this for my father to exercise with - excellent! So many different exercises can be done with this ball and it's soft enough to be held comfortably.

Non-maleable, but otherwise great.
I like this medicine ball, but I have another that is "softer" so you can more easily grip it. I wish this onw was like this. It is a hard, non-malleable ball.

not a bad medicine ball, not a great one either...
Got it on sale, the 6 pounder, because I work with that kind of equipment with my participants, I have a lot of med balls of various types. This one is average. Good size for two handed exercises, a bit on the hard side, not ROCK hard, but hard. As stated by other reviewers, DO NOT LET THIS SIT ON VARNISHED SURFACES or furnitures! This is also one of my concerns with this. what is it made of to literally dissolve varnish? let,s just say I wash my hands thoroughly after use and I advise my groups to do the same. At under 10$ it's acceptable, but there are other much better alternatives.
