Does NOT have lock down hardware, despite what listing says

The main thing to know is that there is no locking hook on the strap to lock it to a table or chair. The description says there is, but there isn’t. All strap hardware is plastic, no hooks or latches at all. Other Travelon bags do have this feature and I’m guessing they just cut and pasted a different description. Looks fine, not particularly cute. It’s pretty large. The straps sit a bit wide for a petite person and would probably slip down since there is no chest buckle. A zippered pocket on the back would be a nice feature for safe easy access. I like the side water bottle pockets and separate rfid pouch.

Good but needs improved

This backpack seems to be well made as I expected from Travelon. However, it needs at least one more small, secure pocket on the outside for quick access to passport & transportation info. Also could use a couple more pockets internally to help keep things organized. Even though I thought I was putting my personal items in the same place each time, I wasn’t because we were always being hurried. Hurried to catch a train, a cab, etc. I had so many moments of panic because things weren’t where I thought I had put them. Next time I’ll take small pouches in different colors or fabric so I won’t have to look in so many places for my items.

Quality product

Going on international trip…plan on using it for day trip excursions where rain is expected everyday. Plan to pack umbrella, poncho, rain shoes and guide book as well as snacks and water bottle. I’m looking forward to seeing how it works. No worries about pick pocketing as zipper locks are strategically placed.

MISREPRESENTING SIZE - does not fit a 14,9" laptop comfortably

I bought this backpack with great anticipation. I put my 14,96"laptop into the padded pocket that supposedly fits a laptop to 15.6" according to your website. The edges will tear the fabric within days. I am HUGELY disappointed. I would not buy it again and had I not waited for it with such anticipation and got rid of all the packaging, I would have returned it for a refund - and an apology

Saw this in the container store for $20 dollars and it’s exactly the same bag. So happy I found it on here. Great bag! Super safe. really happy with it. Very comfortable to wear padded straps, the bag it’s self isn’t heavy at all

Disappointed in quality -- came apart during first trip

I am so disappointed in the quality of this bag. I thought it was going to hold up to trips like my Travelon purse I have owned for years, but during my first use in January 2023 even before my trip ended(!), the lining came undone at the top of the large pocket near the zipper and now since then (after 3 business trips) it has unraveled everywhere and I can see holes forming in the super thin lining in other areas. Incredibly disappointing and this is not the quality Travelon is reputed to have. Will not purchase this again and wish I could get my money back.
