Excellent In Every Way--Almost

This bag is nearly perfect. The only thing lacking is the ability to detach the straps. I would have loved to find an adjustable folding cane to fit inside this bag zipped closed, but at least it fits inside folded without zipping the bag closed. The bag stands alone, holds a 20 ounce Yeti Water Cup, is Theft Resistant, roomy with lots of padding and compartments for tech items, and is fairly light. Honestly the only reason I sent it back was the straps were not detachable. With that in mind, how can the company really claim it is convertibl

Good bag with a few issues

Love love this bag except the tote handles. They are always in the way and actually pose a threat to safety. The handle in the back easily ticks into the back pocket but the tote handle in the front of the bag doesn’t so it can snag onto things and cause an issue that way or can be used by a perpetrator to grab onto and pull you backwards. Trying to figure out if I can cut it off because I love the bag otherwise.

My Perfect Work Bag...sort of.

I'm starting a new job soon and thought I'd buy a new tote. But then I started seeing tote bag/backpack combo bags and thought it was brilliant. I looked at several brands until I settled on this one. It is the perfect size, well organized and the quality is high. I also love the safety features. My only issue is that switching to tote mode from backpack mode was frustrating. You have to struggle to remove the non-mechanical closure! It looks like, over time, it will loosen up but in the meantime it is annoying. An otherwise perfect bag. I easily fixed the problem by buying Swivel Snap Hooks with Screw Bar size 1 1/2'' Width. You can find them here. No sewing no changing anything just adding these little clasps. Decent, but some issues.

Got this bag to use for traveling with my laptop. Pros: - The padding in the laptop sleeve is excellent. Held my 13" macbook pro with room to spare, so could handle a bigger laptop. - Size of the bag itself is great. Will fit under an airline seat well. - Trolley sleeve is perfectly sized for my suitcase — doesn't slide around at all. Cons: - It could use a few more interior pockets to make organizing easier. - Converting this from backpack to tote is not easy. They missed an opportunity to use clips and instead went with a long plastic piece that has to be shoved into loops on each side. Getting them in (to turn tote into backpack) is easy. Getting them out? Good luck. It took me 20 minutes and a lot of muscle the first time. I'm scared that it will rip the loops (they're not stretchy at all), so I'll probably just leave this as a backpack. It defeats the purpose of a convertible tote and I'm not thrilled with that. Based on the other reviews not mentioning this, it's possible I got a defective bag. YMMV.

Really nice, but…

The convertible components to remove the backpack straps are very difficult to disconnect. Everything else about this was great though - the size, the pockets, seems very durable too. Ended up returning due to lack of ease converting it from back pack to tote.

Amazing travel and everyday tote

I have a large 17’ laptop and it fits perfect, I can zip the top of the tote with it in it. So many compartments and everything feels secured. I was going to just use for travel but it turned into everyday
