Love it, but way too big

The design and construction are awesome. However, it is way too big - slightly over the limit for checked bags, and if filled to capacity would be WAY over the weight limit. Ended up returning it and ordering 22" and 25" Bold Rollaboards instead. We have other TravelPro bags and are very happy with them, very strong and lighter than other comparable sized luggage.

Consolidation from two to one…works great for what I needed so far.

I liked most everything about the bag. I travel for business and usually travel for extended periods; thus I used to carry two 50lb suitcases hard shell. Though I couldn’t find one durable enough that withstood the terrible baggage handling, after less than a dozen trips my wheels would be busted, bottom plastic broken or had holes in the side walls. Then I got to thinking; my friend traveled with a sea bag but they don’t have wheels nor extended handle and can weight a lot (dead weight). I eliminated enough to keep it to 70 lbs and have what I needed in one go. Cons: Bottom durability is showing some wear on the material front, I’ll attach a photo. And sometimes if the weight distribution isn’t right the bag won’t stand on its own well, leaning and can fall over. Also the two straps that close with Velcro in the duffel bag position comes apart easily and can snag on the luggage and conveyor belt, so I usually put a cheap zip tie to hold it together before checking the bag. And just a word of caution regarding the zipper protector, over the extendable handle, if the zipper pull isn’t tucked in well enough it can catch on parts of the taxi trunk and rip apart the zipper; I was successful in repairing it but use caution when loading.

Worked almost great for my trip overseas

This is my 1st duffel, had traditional large suitcase before. A little different packing strategy to get used to but worked out fine. My only complaint is that the handle does not extent enough to place my carry-on on top for long walks through the airport and no way to piggy back it.

Huge Capacity

Due to its XL size, it's easy to fill & exceed airline weight limits. Perfect for my 3-week African glamping trip living out of tents on the Serengeti & Maasai Mara alongside the wildebeest's annual migration. Moving from camp to camp daily in the tour guides Toyota Land Cruiser it held up very well.

Make sure you really want it...

I liked this bag a lot but it ended up being just a tiny bit too big for my safari. Also a little heavy. So I returned it and it cost me $46 to send it back via UPS since they don't have free returns. Deeply painful. I have serious regrets about the whole situation. So don't buy it unless you know for SURE you will keep it.

Great Cruise Bag

We love to travel the world using cruise ships as our floating hotels. Cruising is great but staterooms are small so we have learned to always take luggage that will flatten and slide under the bed rather than taking up space in the room. I gave this bag to my husband for our most recent cruise and it worked wonderfully. It held up to handling by the airlines and was easy to roll to the ship check-in. It has multiple handles for lifting and many compartments. The upper compartment has a zip out bottom so it can be used as two separate compartments or one deep compartment. We are very pleased with this bag.

Very user friendly bag. Can easily pack 50lbs. Nice to have two big storage areas.

I owned an airline bag like this for years until it finally was destroyed by the airlines. I liked the dual storage compartment so I gave this a try. Bag is very sturdy but light weight. Zippers work well, Good handles. GREAT price. Very happy to use this style of bag. Works great for winter travel with coats and extra cloths/shoes.

Great rolling duffle!!

Just returned from a 13-day trip to Europe: this brilliant suitcase held everything, easy roll, withstood airplanes and cruise ship handling. It’s a bit heavy but probably because it’s so sturdy!!

Considerable Amount of Room

Bought this for Vacation as I always borrowed someone’s suitcase, didn’t want a hard suitcase nor did I find a soft one that really “stood out”. This one works awesome with ample storage and definitely without question “stands out” in busy airports, easy to locate. The quality is great, well constructed for a duffel bag.
