Pretty solid for the price

The instructions are pretty bad, but it’s pretty simple to figure out. Took me about 10-15mins to mount everything. My cat needed a few days to figure it out and get comfortable climbing as high as I have it, but she loves it now and is constantly up there. Definitely happy with it, just be careful when mounting and I’d recommend just one cat use it due to the iffy sturdiness of it.

Pretty straight forward installation and since the second it went up my cat loves going up there. I added some more things to make a cat "super highway" for them. But they love sleeping in here.

My cat LOVES this!

My husband was watching football and didn't want to do anything but that ... meanwhile, I *really* wanted to get this catnasium put up for Yoshi. So my hub offered me $200 cash if I actually pulled off hanging it myself! SHEEEEEEEEET, OKAY!!!! Now, I'm not an architect or a carpenter and really can't even hang a small picture properly.. but I also don't like backing down from a challenge. It's helpful that the pieces easily cover where you make drill holes, looking for a stud ???? The directions are NOT great, but I laid out all of the pieces in group piles - then used different colored hilighters to give each group of pieces it's own color - then highlighted each corresponding piece on the directions and that made it a whole lot easier for me. Tip: the directions made a mistake and flipped the bolts for the hammock and the cave. The shorter ones are for the cave and the longer are for the hammock. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO BUY THIS FOR YOUR KITTY(IES) because the price point is reasonable and they will LOVE IT!! Mine was playing on it before I even got it up and now he hangs out on it for several hours each day. Just make sure that you get each piece into at least one stud - that's really important. ???? trust me, if I can hang this then ANYONE can!

Need better mounts

Nicely made and sturdy. My only complaint is the hammock style one need bolts to mount the bracket. The screws you have to use are very easy to strip out.

Cats love it!!

The media could not be loaded. Only problem is that the steps don’t want to hold securely in the wall. Keep falling out. I’ll have to find a way to attach them securely. Took a while to assemble, but looks very cool after it’s all done! Other than that, my cats love it.

My cats absolutely LOVE this. This is the second one we purchased. Their customer service is wonderful as well as we didn't receive the mounting equipment but they sent it on over quickly and we were able to mount it with ease!

Easy to assemble, recommend a stud finder

I would recommend a stud finder!! Other than that it’s super easy to assemble!

Well, that was fun...

My cat was in the shelter before it was even on the wall. The only annoying thing was no instructions were provided as to how to put the different pieces together (except how to put it on the wall). I'm not an expert builder so finding the studs was more of a challenge than building the actual cat tree... Also, really cheap scews BUY YOUR OWN (5 of the 8 that go behind the hammoc actually broke because they were burning hot) I didn't install the condo on the wall just in case.

Missing Peices

This is the second set I’ve purchased. One for myself and this one was a gift for my mom. I had issues with mine where the hammock broke and we had to repair it. My moms kit came with the studs missing from the hammock so that the end caps cannot be installed, which is dangerous because the fabric can slide off of the cardboard and the entire hammock can fall off from the wall attachment. Emailed Trixie about the missing studs but haven’t even heard back.

Not bad!

I almost returned because I have very few studs in my apartment. But instead just changed the hardware and got good quality anchors. There are no instructions, and the flat bed does not come with groves to screw in the plates... I have no idea why they made this choice. It is the hardest piece to get straight and line up with the wall latch. With some patients and dedication... Our kitty is a super happy girl =) Recommended, however, shop around. For the price you could find better fabric, and better assemble ones.

Meep lives in the basket one

Our cat’s given name is Meep but nobody calls her that, really her name is Beep or Meeples. Anyway, we bought this thing for her because Flippy (A.K.A. Bip, Whip or Wipples) is always on the cat tree and that’s not fair so we needed a thing that was just for little Beep and this thing was just the ticket. We read lots of people saying things like it’s hard to install or wobbly screw or that kind of thing but that wasn’t our experience at all so either we (Robyn) are masters at cat-shelving or these other people need to enroll in a cat-shelving course. Try some of your own medicine for a change, shelf-bashers!

Cat loves to play and sleep

Our bengal loves to sleep and play on this set. She likes both the hammock and the cave. We purchased this after reading the reviews and we were concerned she might break the hammock so we decided to buy fiberglass tape (we used FiberFix) and reinforced the hammock polls before we installed the hammock on the wall. So far it's been a year and there have been no issues with the polls bending or breaking. Unfortunately it looks like the fabric is starting to rip. We will probably need to reinforce and stitch the fabric back together in a few more months. Otherwise we are very happy with the product!
