PAY ATTENTION TO MEASUREMENTS!

We bought this bookshelf to replace two 3x3 cube organizers (from Walmart/target) stacked on top of each other. We used the two cube organizers to hold books and board games. Because of the board games awkward shapes, we went with this bookshelf. I wish I had paid attention to the measurements because this bookshelf is about 3/4 as tall as the two stacked cube organizers BUT it does hold all the books and all the games really well! We have lots of VASAGLE/Somgmics furniture in our living room (their much sturdier than anything we’ve gotten from target/Walmart/wayfair/etc.) and it’s nice that all the furniture pieces match but if I had to do it over, I would probably wait to buy this on sale— $90 is a bit much for this bookshelf in my opinion.

Good bookcase but stickers may ruin the finish

This would be a 5-star rating if not for the stickers that label each piece because they do not come off well at all and mar the surface of your brand new furniture! Some are stuck where you cannot avoid having them in prominent places (can't hide on bottom or back when assembling). It doubled the assembly time trying to peel up, gently scratch off, then finally use noxious "good off" to remove the adhesive while also trying to not strip the finish. Re-living it as I write this makes me want to knock off another star but the bookcase is otherwise very nice. The manufacturer needs to use appropriate adhesive or just place the stickers on inside seams to avoid ruining the finished product.

I’m happy with product

The larger option was out of stock, and I really wanted the last of my boxes from the move out of my room, so I ordered two and just placed them together. I think they fit together well. The wood laminate looks really nice, but careful, the screws provided seem to strip easily. The first round of putting the shelves together proved a bit more challenging, mostly because of the screws. By the second one, we had the shelf together in about an hour. It is totally worth the price, and the shelves are a happy addition to my room!

Pretty good quality and not that hard to build (you have to think of course can’t do what instruction says you have to use your common sense) and works perfectly for what I needed for!

Clever and precise assembly

Have assembled many bookcases and modular furniture. This one stands head and shoulders above many. Precise and well designed to say the least …quality very good. Only negative is the Ellen wrench provided. I couldn’t use one from my higher grade Ellen wrench set, and was forced to use the itty bitty wrench provided. Nonetheless, this 80 year old was able to follow instructions with stellar success and satisfaction. Great purchase imho.

If you can get the small screws in, you got yourself a winner ⭐️

It’s exactly what I wanted. I almost gave up putting it together because the rooting for the small screws is non-existent. However, with perseverance, I got them to go in straight enough to get a hold.

It was a bit smaller than expected, but my grandson loves it. He choose to put his special lego builds on display. He loves it!! Easy to build, sturdy and a nice piece of furniture for him!!

Sturdy and looks great!

I was a bit skeptic about the reviews saying it’s difficult to put together, but I’m glad I chanced it. My 12 year old son put it together. It holds a lot, is unique and we love it.

Read this for tips on assembly

I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality with furniture bought off Amazon, but this exceeded my expectations. For one, the shelf is modern and sleek, and the wood grain looks even better in person. It's not made from cheap crumbly particle board, and made from a solid wood. I'm also really happy with how sturdy it is. As you can see in the picture, I loaded up the shelf with a lot of heavy books (I put the heaviest on the bottom to be safe), and it's handling them no problem. Each shelf allows a lot of headroom (about 14 inches) for my tallest books, so I don't have to put them on their sides like I did with my previous book shelf. Regarding the assembly process, the instructions are clear and straightforward, but you need to pay close attention. I have a couple tips that might help speed things up: 1. Follow the instructions exactly, and take note of where the holes are facing when you start putting things together, because it matters. For example, I accidentally screwed on the base board the wrong way with the holes facing the front. 2. In the instructions, there are pieces labelled G and H which look the same at first glance, but are not. Assemble them properly, and make sure you attach them to the correct sides of the middle board. I didn't think it mattered which way they faced, but it does. 3. I recommend putting on the long backboard pieces and attaching each shelf as you go, rather than attaching them at the very end. This will allow you more flexibility to move the shelves around as you screw them on, since I found the holes aren't always perfectly aligned. Hope this helps so you don't spend as much time assembling as I did!

Perfect for my space

Love this shelf, it is actually ‘settle for option’ to the one I have wanted but is typically unavailable. Fits perfect in the space I have it. Looks awesome. Easy to assemble.
