nice...but i sealed the window in place,the box needed too edge planed to sit flat,the frame assembly was loose fit,i use glue and staple,added to my supers ,i brush melted wax onto the foundation ,get that honey,

Very nice hive but you need to cover the removable windows with plexiglass

Hive came unassembled and took about 2 hours to put together, each box has a removable windows, I guess to see the bees but it doesnt make sense. I had to make and add my own Plexiglas windows behind the removable door, other than that , its a very nice hive

Meh.

This hive was mostly easy to put together. Some of the dove-tails were not fully cut, so I had to do some amateur woodworking to get the boxes assembled. It does no include nails. Assembly can be done without them, but I am not risking my bees on weak joints. I don’t know yet how well the bees will like the hive - that will be the most important thing.

Required Modifications but is nice

Boxes: Joint were a tight fit, so tight that I had one side panel crack with construction (will have to see if it flares when exposed to weather). The "window" does NOT have plexiglass therefore when you open it be prepared for the bees to exit via it, (I added plexi after I shaved down the window additional cost of 20$). It has a very thick wax coating. Frames: sheets are plastic cover in wax but appear sturdy. Frames are wood. All of them had some sort of breakage during assembly but I think they will be okay with the nails in. How it weathers will determine if I would purchase it again.

Nicely built

This is my first hive. I am very happy with the quality. Very easy to assemble (though it didn’t come with instructions). It’s almost impossible to do it wrong.

Sturdy Construction but need better instructions

Product is very sturdy. Instructions are not clear and photos are black and white. The honey combs need to be stapled/nails to keep together

Ok hive

Looks nice but with issues. Dovetails don't line up on some panels which makes either the panel or the Dovetails to break. The frames are flimsy even after nailing them as instructed to do in manual. Would have paid more to have it fully assembled by company

Doesn’t have a top or bottom kind of cheap

It was kind of cheap, and this does not come with a top or bottom to the box.
