Mermaid's Pearls

I liked these ornaments as part of an ocean inspired installation. The only downside to them is that one of the four finishes seems to be a completely different color from the other three. It strikes me as more of a Christmas green than a seafoam. I have set these aside for the holidays . . . I would've purchased a set of these in a larger size, but this particular color is much more expensive than most of the other Vickerman ornaments. (I have quite a few, as do my mum and sister). They are shatter, child, and wagging dog tail proof. They come in a wide variety of colors for many occasions- we have a bittersweet orange set for Thanksgiving and fuchsia for Valentine's day. I have turquoise, cobalt, and the seafoam green in my ocean themed bedroom, and I really couldn't be happier.

Beautiful and safe!

I bought these for my Christmas tree. I have these ornaments in dark blue and teal and wanted turquoise already, so I purchased this color so that I could do a gradual ombre. These ornaments had the usual quality, and I do not worry if they fall off the tree or if the cat attacks them. These ornaments added much-needed color to my tree and made it look fantastic.

I would buy these again

I buy many different ornaments because I bead ornament covers and sell the resulting ornaments at Saturday/Holiday Market in Eugene, Oregon. I bought these ornaments because I thought they would work well under those ornament covers I made that focus on the sea. The color is perfect. I couldn't be more satisfied.

These are great little ornaments, but not the color I needed.

Beware: No hooks included.

No hooks are included with these ornaments which was a serious PIA when we were trimming the tree. Securing clips/ropes is a 2-hour investment. As for the shatterproof description-- it's true. My 17 month old twins bounced these ornaments around like tennis balls. They're not the most luxurious ornaments around, but they look nice and withstand torture.

I was nervous that they would look cheap and plastic-y, but the color is deep and rich; --and you can't really see the seam unless you look close or have bright direct light (which you wouldn't have on a tree). They even come with pre-cut silver string (which you must tie--and no hooks, but that's pretty standard for bulk ornaments). Great purchase!

Ordered Teal(green): Color is true to online image. Delivered next day. All of the ornaments arrived in good condition. From far, looks like real glass ornaments. Hanging closures came attached. Will be ordering again if needed.
