Seasoned well and fits on the egg

My son uses this to grill steaks on the big green egg large. Sears them on the flat side. His steaks are perfect. It washes easy.

Dual Purpose, Versatile

Cast Iron dual sided griddle is quite handy. Now I read the directions as to first use & recommended future use & treatment. Being familiar with cast iron care & knowing it requires more attention as to maintenance, there were no surprises & if not familiar with cast iron appliances - the instructions specifically advise NOT to put in dishwasher. Additionally, it needs to be thoroughly dried by kitchen towel, nooks & crannies, handles, rims etc. If there is a need for quickie clean up - it is likely cast iron isn't the type of cooking equipment you will want. However, if you want a consistent uniform cooking surface & with this griddle-the option of grill or flat, you will get both in one appliance. i have used it several times so far, followed the standard care for cast iron & have had no rust problems. Very pleased with this purchase. Packaged well, arrived earlier than expected, highly recommend.

Really, Victoria??

I get that I should have read the size of this before I bought it. However, this being advertised as a double-burner griddle is so misleading! I want to see the stove that this will fit over two burners? It's just an awkward size and I can't understand how or why someone would use this. I fell like it's purposely misleading.

My go-to griddle

This is my favorite griddle, from the campground to the kitchen. The smooth side makes great pancakes and eggs. The grill side is great for making fajitas on the induction top stove. Clean-up isn’t too bad. I’ll soak it if I have burnt on fajitas, but it other most messes just brush off.

Victoria Rivals Competitors with Reversible Cast Iron Griddle!

Victoria Reversible Cast Iron Round Griddle Review: I bought this compact griddle primarily for preparing dishes for just two people while camping, using my Coleman Dual Fuel Single burner stove or my Coleman Dual Fuel Double burner camp stove. I like it so much that I now use it at home on my kitchen range and outdoor propane cooker. It is the perfect size for grilling small portions, easy to clean, and compact for storage while in the camper. I use the raised ridged side a lot for grilling steaks, and the flat side for eggs, fish, grilling veggies, hash browns, toast, etc. It has great heat transfer and cooks food in a jiffy. I keep it well seasoned so that food does not stick - however, sometimes after grilling steaks the seasonings need to be scraped off the griddle where it burnt on due to high temps. I use a metal spatula and scrape off any stuck food particles, wash it using only water and dry, then oil both sides with grapeseed oil and it is good to go for the next use. The handles work well, although they will burn your hands without wearing mitts coming right off the stove. There is a lip around the edge that keeps grease out of the fire, preventing messy flareups. The quality is great for the price and does as good a job as other more expensive manufacturer's offerings. I love cooking on cast iron -- due to the even temp transfer, it is easy to keep from burning the food.

Decent griddle

Super handy tool in the kitchen. This griddle is optimal size and works very well for making pancakes and crepes, grilled cheese sandwiches and alike. It comes pre-seasoned and is relatively non-stick - good enough for pancakes. I tried frying some eggs on this griddle and the result was not very good - eggs stuck to the surface and I had to soak the griddle to pry them off. So I suppose it still needs more seasoning to acquire the true non-stick cast iron qualities. But overall I do like this product. One thing I wasn't very happy about was that one of the handles was curves out of shape. As seen in the pictures the handles are coils, one of them came crooked on my griddle. I decided it wasn't too big of a deal for me so I just let it slide.

This is one of the purchased items, I had no regrets or even second thoughts. Perfect!

After extensive search and numerous readings of reviews on many similar items, I decided to purchase this particular one. GOOD CCHOICE! Perfect size, very well made, conveniently made handles. Great quality all around. Used a grill side to grill filet of salmon.... came out perfect. Used a smooth side to bake a pizza........ came out perfect. Would highly recommend this item.

I love this Griddle and Grill !

So far, so good! I bought this 2 months ago for its grill size which is great for grilled cheese sandwiches, paninis, fajitas. I can also report that it makes great crêpes and pancakes on the griddle side. Be sure to follow their instructions on care and understand and have patience with cast iron. It takes time to build up a good deep seasoning on cast iron. I feel this grill/griddle will last me a lifetime. Thank you Victoria!

Fits the Boil King Keg BBQ perfectly

I have been using this griddle for a few months on a Broil King Keg. It's a perfect fit so it should also fit other kamados of a similar size. Make sure to season it first when you receive it. Then it'll stay non-stick and remain easy to clean. I season it after each cook. It's still in pristine condition and awesome when needing to pan fry something over charcoal.
