Cute but terrible quality

I like the look of this, however quality is terrible.. also came with the latch completely broken off and also one of the legs was broken in two pieces..it is quite flimsy as well, I don’t think it will hold up too long. I didn’t want to bother sending it back though, had my husband nail the leg pieces together and attach them. May be better off actually spending 200 on a real antique chest

Cheaply constructed, color wears off on hands

The chest came with its sections coming apart, I had to add finishing nails to get the seams back together. The coloring is not as pictured, the whole chest is similarly colored to the brown straps, and as you handle the chest, whatever they used for the coloring rubs off on your hands. I expected much better quality for the price of $199

Cheaply made

Made with cheap material and coming apart. It is put together with staples and they are not holding good at all. Also is not squared up so it looks crooked
