Great pattern, easy to follow
I read the reviews before purchasing this pattern, and was dismayed by the one start reviewer. I did decide to purchase and give it a go! Boy am I glad I did!!! I'm only about 1/3 of the way through, but I'll post a pic when I'm finished. I haven't been sewing or quilting for very long and am 100% self taught. This pattern is very easy to follow. There aren't a ton of instructions, but I watched one 5 minute you tube tutorial on paper stitching and had all the info I needed. The only other slight complaint is that you have to dissect the color guide as you go because the pattern didn't really show exactly which colors are what. It was easy enough to figure out though with some common sense. I've only followed about three patterns before in my life and this one is not hard. As long as you have some basic sewing knowledge you can totally make this amazing quilt!!! I am excited to purchase more of Violet Craft's incredible masterpieces.

Disappointed
It is not as it was originally produced it is a booklet printed on thin paper the pieces are not on card stock. The original pattern provided card stock pattern. I understand that you need to copy the provided pattern an extra time consuming process.

A Must Make
I looked at this pattern for a long time before deciding that I must make this glorious creature. The pattern is everything that I've come to expect from Violet Craft. The price at Amazon was just another gentle nudge to my purchase.
