These compression socks work like a dream!

These compression socks work like a dream and compress in all the right places. the best place is right behind the toes and the upper arch. Many of the others do not compress there but everywhere else. Easy to put on, not easy to take off but easier than others. Wish they had more colors in my size! Speaking of "in my size", I am large boned, big calf and feet. I'm 6'-7" and exercise (treadmill, bikes, et al) 3-4 times a week. I weigh close to 300 lbs and am about 50 lbs over my high school weight. I feel that the reason I've had such a difficult time with all 8 brands of socks is that they make a for a standard size/proportioned figure. That has to be my problem. If I was "Twiggy" then all would be much easier to get one, but being my size it is a workout putting these socks on!

Well made compression socks

I wear these socks, along with several other brands, for vein support. I like this brand because my legs seem to feel better at the end of the day despite being of lower compression. My doctor is great and a highly respected vascular surgeon, but he feels these socks don't put enough pressure on my legs. I respect his opinion, but will maintain that how my legs feel is the critical measure of effectiveness of me. I think the progressive compression can be more effective for some situations.

I am a nurse who worked in these for 10 hours

I purchased this same band at a medical store and loved them. The ones I received from Amazon were too long on the foot, were uncomfortable at times, bunched and created a band just below my knees. I could see the swelling at the ankle through the socks. While they didn't work as well as Physix Gear Sport socks in terms of compression, comfort and stamina, I must say, my feet and legs didn't look bad. I was often aware of the stocks and needed to readjust them to prevent pressure behind my knee.

Could not wear these stockings due to discomfort

It takes me about 25 minutes to put these stockings on and after they have been on for an hour, the circulation is cut off from my ankles and feet. I got these as a gift and can't return them due to purchase in May.

Size XL is extra long, but not XL.

Website size description for XL indicates a fit for my shoe size and calf width: not true. Could not get one sock on, it's that tight. Can't rate moisture wicking, 'cause I did not wear 'em. If the manufacturer redesigns the size to fit, the sock sounds like it's unique. But, as is, no. Sock needs to be significantly wider AND shorter: it's way too long, & I'm six foot tall.

They looked great out of the package

I was excited to try these socks, and bought the XL size. They looked great out of the package, but I have 20" calves, and could net get them past my ankles. No fault of the socks, just did not fit me. They looked to a taller sock for those looking for that.

They serve their purpose well; however, like all compression socks, they are a bear to struggle with getting them on. And even though they are a larger size, they seem a regular size.
