Good To A Point
I have combination skin and this is too much for certain areas of my face. The first time I used it, I had a pimple on my chin the next day. I use it on my cheeks, upper forehead, and the tiniest amount possible on the tip of my nose. It certainly moisturizes but it does not rub in well so expect your face to be sticky for awhile. On that note, it's too thick to rub in at all without using more vigor than I'd like to on my sensitive skin. Best to use at night.

VERY RICH moisturizing face cream
I used to buy the Dr. Haushka moisturizing creams, but they've skyrocketed out of my price range. I read that Weleda also uses natural products in their cream, and is placed at a much lower price point. Beware the scent. I've read in reviews that people dislike it. To me, it's kind of a pine/herby smell and I like it very much. Also note, the smell seems to quickly go away. This is a thicker cream that feels very skin nourishing. I live in the high desert and need that moisturizing. I have found this to be a great alternative to the Hauschka products I used to love. It is very hard to find and I'm so glad I can purchase it on Amazon. My skin is sensitive and often doesn't react well to products. I've had no difficulty with using this cream.

Dense and luxurious
I read about this somewhere and decided to try. My skin is dry - I love this cream. It is very dense and you feel that you are getting the best nourishment possible for your skin. I am very happy with this purchase and will continue to use. This morning I really thought my skin looked different - and this is after a few days use.

Excellent very heavy moisturizer/ face mask for night time
This is great to use at night and wake up with plump skin. It has the same effect as some high prized moisturizing face masks I am using. I would not use it as a day cream since it is very greasy, makes the skin super shiny, and does not work with putting another layer like SPF or make up on top.

Helped heal my husband's skin!
I bought Weleda Skin Food for my husband after he was given a prescription cream from his Dermatologist to remove some pre-cancerous lesions on his face. The prescription cream basically creates a chemical burn on the skin (very nasty one at that) and the Dermatologist had him using Vaseline (petrolatum) on it twice a day over the cream after washing with a gentle cleanser. He had to use the prescription for two weeks and after the first week I had him add Weleda Skin Food under the Vaseline (based on all the wonderful reviews, I figured it was worth a shot). His skin was at a point that it wasn't super raw after the two weeks and he did a skin patch test to make sure he wasn't allergic to any ingredients on his forearm before adding it to his new routine. My husband hates using skincare products (hence the pre-cancerous skin lesions) but he loooooved using the Skin Food under the Vaseline. He said the Vaseline felt great, but the combo of the Skin Food and Vaseline felt wonderful. My husband got to the point that he looked forward to washing his face so he could put them both on again (he did reapply the Vaseline throughout the day if his skin felt dry or irritated). He loved how soothing the Skin Food was to his skin and how fast his skin was healing. After three weeks (2nd week of treatment and two weeks post treatment) his skin never looked better. I know the wonders of Vaseline, but the Skin Food ramped it up so many notches! His skin is seriously amazingly soft and radiant! I am going to buy my own tube to see if I can get a bit of that glow for myself! I would have added pics, but he didn't want me to and I wasn't going to do it without his consent since we did take quite a few before, during, and after his skin treatment. If you're reading this, please wear sunscreen! I don't want anyone to go through what he did (and his was "just" pre-cancer) or go through worse. There are plenty of great sunscreens out there and self tanner, if you feel you want your skin to appear tan, but I bet you look just as fantastic with the skin you were born with :)

Nice thick cream
The smell of this is super pleasant! It is a nice light scent that, once on, isn't noticeable. The product itself is very thick and nice and blends easily. I purchased this to use on my face while vacationing in a very drying climate and it was definitely a lifesaver!

I have oily skin that I treat as dry skin in the winter. I also reach for heavy creams when I've been out in the sun all day. I saw Dove Cameron use this on her face and didn't think anything of it. I just went along with it only to find out there's a day face cream and night face cream in this line. I'm slightly mortified because I've never but I kind of already fell in love with it so I went and ordered the light cream/moisturizer for day wear. What do you do? I was using La Mer's original cream right before this and have on and off for over a decade. The absorption isn't quite right for me.

Rubbish ingredients, smells, doesn’t absorb
I always regret when I do not do my research and buy things based on hyped reviews. I guess people are very different and so are the skins and skin needs. Bought it for my husband who has relatively dry skin and works outside. Though a rich cream would be good. He always happily uses the things I get but this one is a no-no and I agree. It’s tacky, it’s thick and it doesn’t absorb. If you want a shiny face for hours go for it! I also didn’t check the ingredients which I have done now - 8 “icky” ones (that’s a lot!). Alcohol, limonene, fragrance, linalool, citral etc And the moisturising ingredients are very superficial and heavy which don’t fix the root cause - lack of hydration. Do yourself and for your skin a favour and order some Korean serums and creams, they are not full of unnecessary ingredients and are full of beneficial stuff. Cosrx, Dear Klairs, Purito etc

Fantastic skincare addition for the price
Bought this on the recommendation of Katie Jayne Hughes on Instagram. She swears it is her holy grail product and has beautiful glossy skin. Well what can I say? I have been using this for less than a week and it is a wonder product. Use a tiny amount, warmed up in my hands first, across my cheekbones and forehead and then patted into the skin. I feel there has almost been a ‘blurring’ effect on my skin. Like a real life filter! This is such a reasonable price and I would recommend at least giving it a go. I don’t know why I waited so long!

Not just for elbows
I suffer from extremely dry skin, and the skin on my face is awful. It gets so dry it cracks and then I get spots, awful! This cream has made a real difference. It is very thick, like an ointment, not something you would usually dream of using on your face. I mix it with Vitamin E oil which makes it easier to rub in. Also the massaging action helps with circulation. I use it on other dry patches and it is a very kind cream. Those of you with extremely dry skin will know that some moisturisers actually sting quite a lot when applied, but this doesn't do that. Being an ointment type cream, it gives you a protective layer for much longer than creams that are quickly absorbed. I would recommend this, and as someone who suffers from spots, I can say for me anyway that it has reduced this problem using it on my face which sounds contrary I know!

Wonder cream
Brilliant product! I have extremely sensitive skin and suffer with dry patches that my make up just cracks and breaks down on. I was recommended this cream by another male up artist and now I couldn’t live without it. I apply it to my face every night before bed, it does feel a little greasy on your face for a while and has a really strong fruity kind of smell. I sometimes apply it as a moisturiser before my day to day make up routine also. This cream has worked wonders for me
