Great budget drill bit set

I have a lot of drill bits, from very expensive US-made cobalt bits, down to these Wen bits. I got these for jobs where I don't want to risk my better bits, or if my neighbor needs to borrow something. These aren't as good as a $100 set, but they are great for the price. They cut quickly and have a split point, and work great in mild steel, wood, plastic etc. They are better than most of the "usual suspects" like store brands or even Dewalt. Highly recommended for what they are.

Case issue can be easily corrected

Bits are a awesome but holes that hold bits in case are a tad bit too lose. No worries this case issue can be easily corrected. Just put the bits back in the correct holes and then remove the whole flip up rack of bits (on both sides of case) and move/adjust them up a few slots so that the tips of the bits are now near the top edge of the case and cannot get all the way out of their holes. The only way to get them out (and back in) now is by flipping the bit rack up.

Great product esp considering the pricepoint .

The first one arrived in a damaged box and the bits were rusty and corroded as if they were stored or handled badly by Amazon. The replacement set is perfect and a very nice product. I'm 100% happy with the product for the price. The shank portion of each bit has 3 flats milled into it to keep it from rotating in the chuck of the drill Its a nice touch that many other manufacturers have stopped doing, including Dewalt/SBD.

Great bits, loose in the holder

The bits come out of the holder way too easy. When I opened the box initially, there were several bits "floating around" in the box rather than in their slots. Putting them back was easy (as the bits are marked) but still the slots are too large to hold the bits reliably. But great set. Perfect for my WEN Drill press.

Cheapest 29 piece drill bit set

Box doesn’t close properly, the lid was bent. The item arrived with about half of the drill bits loose in the box. So you have to be careful not to turn this box upside down. Other drill bit cases usually have it where the bits snap into place, instead of just having a hole for each spot.

Go back to shop class

I just recieved them today. I had 3 projects waiting along with the WEN Drill press. So far so good. I dont think most of the reviewers ever took shop class! You need to adjust your speed to the material and bit size, you should never break a new bit
