I ordered this as a stocking stuffer for my adult daughter, a Westie owner. Before ordering, I carefully read the description, including the dimensions that are stated - "4"L x 2½"W (approx.)". I pulled out a ruler and envisioned the ornament size. It came today (Monday) - I had placed the order at noon on Friday (I love Amazon Prime!). When I opened the box it was shipped in, my first reaction upon seeing the ornament box was OMG...how tiny! Before I tell you the actual dimensions of the ornament, let me tell you this -- the outside dimensions of the ornament BOX are only 2¾"L x 2 1/16"W (exactly). Because the stocking part of the ornament is soft, it was smooshed into the box to fit, so the box dimensions are aren't a true reflection of the ornament's size. Irregular-shaped items are difficult to measure, but when I measure this ornament with the stocking fully extended, the length (from the very tip of the ears to the lower-most point in the curved area of the bottom of the stocking) is 3 3/4" (and that's stretching it...literally). The width of the ornament (from the widest spot on each side of the stocking) is 2 1/16th" (same size as the width of the box). So the ornament is definitely not 4" x 2½". There's nothing wrong with a small ornament - it just doesn't look like a $9.49 ornament. Aside from the size, I am happy with the Westie part of the ornament. It actually does look like a Westie - unlike all the other Westie ornaments I looked at before buying this one. So 5 stars for that. The material that the stocking is made of is very cheap. There is a noticeable gap inside the stocking between the bottom of the resin and the point where the stuffing begins. There is no way to stuff anything into the stocking in an attempt to fill it out, and trying to re-distribute the stuffing with your fingers doesn't work. 5 stars for the resin Westie; 2 stars for the quality of the stocking fabric; 2 stars for the way it was smooshed into a box that is not big enough, and 3 stars for the ornament size weighed against the cost of the ornament. Overall, I am giving it a 3-star rating - which is an "It's ok" by Amazon's definitions.

Quality is not good.
Bought two of these to decorate a Christmas gifts for two Westie lovers. The quality is not very good. The eyes looked a little crazy, and the stocking part was very cheap looking. I got them for $5 each so I can't complain too much... It did make the boring wrapping job a lot cuter.
