Perfect replacement for halogen

Used in low voltage landscape lights. These bulbs are not only sturdy, they're one of the few I've been able to find that are rated for use in enclosed fixtures. The color of the warm white is comparable to halogen - not yellow or blue at all. I replaced 35 watt halogen bulbs with the 50 watt equivalent - they look great. I can't speak to dimmability, but they come on instantly and there is no flickering.

Not 100% dimmable

The media could not be loaded. Not dimmable below a certain level, starts flickering and then flashes on and off as lights are dimmed. Looks well made and produces good light. Would be ideal in non-dimmable fixtures.

Perfect replacement for halogen ... and the correct replacement size

Third time's a charm! Before getting these, I had tried (and returned) two other brands of LED MR16 replacement bulbs. Both turned out to be just a bit taller (~2") than the original halogen type (~1.8") I was trying to replace -- enough of a difference that the "replacements" didn't fit my light fixture. (This might not be an issue for everyone) But besides dimensions, other features of these Westinghouse lamps include: (1) clear, bright, untinted light quality (no pink or blue tinge), (2) the ability to dim using a conventional dimmer, yet with (3) no hum or flicker. (NOTE: As another customer has mentioned, these do flicker at the very very lowest dimming setting, but that is far darker than I would ever need -- so not an issue. This could be more problematic for other users/applications, although in my experience, LEDs usually don't dim quite as well or as completely as halogens or incandescent bulbs.)
