Really nice fixture

Installing this was straightforward. It looks great installed. We chose it for our playroom, as the cage should help protect the bulb from any children's shenanigans like those old gymnasium lights and the pulley mechanism is great for our vaulted ceiling. we could get it exactly where we wanted it and it looks fantastic. it's already taken a couple of hits from various balls and it is holding up great. I don't know if durability is usually a feature people look for in lighting fixtures but this one definitely is. It's also got all the safety certifications and compliances you could ask for.

Cool light fixture. Great for a business, or a workshop, or over a breakfast nook.

This is a cool light fixture. There is a business near where I live that has fixtures like this and I have always thought they were cool. It looks like something you would see in a general store 100 years ago. It works well and is obviously well made as it comes from Westinghouse, so you know that it is going to be good quality. 5 stars.

Unique pendant light

This WESTINGHOUSE pendant light is unique and very well made. All the parts feel sturdy and hefty. The finish is vintage and the golden brass cage shade helps give off a warm white and subtle light. Great for setting the mood in the room. I find this this light to be an excellent value because it is unique, well made, and just awesome!

Very easy to install and matches decor

This was very easy to install to replace the really ugly chandelier in the foyer. I like that the length is adjustable to make changing the bulb easy, don't need a long ladder to change it. Matches the rest of decor and hardware perfectly. This item was packaged very carefully. Would recommend this to a friend.

Quality Lighting Fixture

This Westinghouse branded light fixture is actually much better quality than I expected. I pulled it out to inspect it, as I plan to hang it this weekend. All of the metal parts are nicely finished and have a great color. The golden brass cage looks really, really nice. In fact, this really is a great looking piece that looks as if it could have come out of an old factory. I photograph a lot of abandoned factories and such and this is one of the few modern fixtures that really looks and feels like it could be old. The weight and pulleys is ingenious. It allows you to vary the height of the lamp. Really well made and nice looking. I plan on putting in an LED Edison style bulb to top off the look.

Worth Waiting For

Pull down light fixtures were popular in the 1950's and 1960's and then pretty much disappeared. They worked exceptionally well where you used a space for different purposes. This one is now available and it's terrific. You can have the light up high for general area lighting and then pull it down for task lighting. It's sharp looking and works smoothly. I will enjoy using this fixture and value it's features.
